Hello everyone 🤍

🙏 This is a really vulnerable post for me, and not at all how I imagined starting my Christmas break.

😫 If you were booked in for an appointment this evening or tomorrow, I’m truly sorry that I’ve had to cancel at such short notice. I don’t make this decision lightly because I care deeply about my patients.

💀Mid-afternoon today, my body simply said enough. My sinuses flared suddenly alongside a strong histamine reaction, and the left side of my face began to swell. The first video shows the swelling starting, and the second photo shows the unevenness that followed after taking 3 lots of fexafenadine.

🧘‍♀️I finished a course of antibiotics for sinusitis two weeks ago, and I’m still recovering from a pretty severe asthma flare-up, which many of you already know about. I also have further lung tests coming up in the next week.

💥As much as it breaks my heart to cancel, I need to listen to my body right now so I can properly recover & continue to care for you.

🫶Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your patience, kindness and understanding regarding my Ill health, it does truly means everything.

🎁I also want to say how incredibly grateful I am for all the thoughtful gifts & messages I’ve received for Xmas . They’ve really lifted my spirits more than you know 🤍

There’s been a little situation with the floor paint not drying overnight, so please take extra care if you’re attending the clinic today!

Rubber mats have been placed to protect the wet areas, but please watch your step as they may be a slight trip hazard.
