The Proud to Care Cornwall Awards 2025 was a truly magical evening celebrating the heart of care in Cornwall – the people. 💙

From the welcome performance by Duane AJ Music to the inspiring words from the Citizen Checkers, and Warwick Davis reminding us that care workers really are like wizards – the evening was filled with pride, gratitude and joy.

A huge congratulations to all the winners, finalists and nominees, your dedication and compassion are what makes care in Cornwall so special.

Team building with a twist 🌍

Last week our Truro team enjoyed a multicultural food tasting day, from cow’s feet and worms to chicken digestive system, finished off with a delicious homemade curry.

At Alexandra’s Community Care, we see every day the difference compassion and understanding can make for people living with dementia and their families.

This month is about raising awareness, breaking down stigma, and showing support to everyone affected by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

🌟 A fantastic morning with the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce at Truro City Football Club 🌟

Yesterday, our colleague Tom Kennedy attended on behalf of Alexandra’s Community Care and enjoyed hearing insightful talks from John Brown, Rob Butland and Matthew Butler.

It was a brilliant opportunity to connect with the local business community and share more about the important work our team does across Cornwall, providing compassionate care and support to those who need it most. 💙
