Welcome to The Birth Circle - Surrey & Sussex. We are Lucy and Laura, two local doulas, birth workers and mums!
Between us we have over 12 years experience in birth education & support, and 5 children! As Doulas we have supported families with homebirths, hospital births & abdominal births alongside the SASH maternity team (East Surrey hospital). Through this new group we are bridging the gap between local families, our maternity services and excellent professionals in this area, who are here to support you and help you navigate this journey of becoming a mother & parent.
We are excited to be facilitating regular free meet ups for new mums & parents, to provide you with a safe space to find your village, through meeting other expectant parents & talking to your local midwives, birth workers & other professionals.
Combined, we offer classes in antenatal education, pregnancy & birth prep yoga, hypnobirthing, mindful breastfeeding, biomechanics for birth, women’s rights in childbirth & birth and postnatal doula support.
As mothers living in your community, we really understand the huge journey that you are on throughout pregnancy & parenthood, whether this is your 1sr or 10th baby. Through The Birth Circle meet ups, we want you to feel seen & supported, because we believe that when new families are held & nurtured, they will thrive 🌱
