There are multiple benefits of hydrotherapy / aquatic physiotherapy, and these will vary from person to person.
We will ask what the goals /aims are for each client, as then we can then tailor sessions towards the individual's targets.
If you aren't sure what you might achieve in hydrotherapy, our physiotherapists will let you know what is realistic and can make some suggestions.
Our sessions are physiotherapy led. However, we have a holistic approach, and we appreciate the wider benefits gained from aquatic based exercise, too. Such as relaxation, improvement in mental health, enjoyment/fun, and importance of participation in a social and physical activity.
