A parent /child relationship needs to adapt and change at multiple times through life.

Some of these changes are seamless and expected, others may be unexpected and painful, creating feelings of distance or confusion.

Family counselling can be a place to explore and understand the strengths in your relationship and also to consider why some areas feel less productive and adjustments that can be made.

Adult family work begins individually, with a chance to talk about your own experience and aims. Sessions can be via video-call or in-person and so can cater for families spread over different locations.

So we don't expect our clients to appear with a mapped-out plan for the way ahead.

The assessment session is a chance to begin to talk about where you are and, if you know, where you want to be, and together we will look at some ideas for moving forward.
