The Priors Mead Easter Party 2024 what a wonderful day! Andy Mace set the party tone, our chef wowed us all with roast lamb and buffet options, and sweet treats delighted everyone. Claire's Easter quiz added fun, and the egg hunt was a highlight, bringing laughter and joy to all!
We want to thank everyone for coming and we hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

This week at Priors Mead, we've been unleashing our creativity with egg decorating, gearing up for Easter. Our spirits were lifted with a lively visit from Linley, inspiring us to move and groove. Additionally, we indulged in a movie afternoon, where 'Goodnight Mister Tom' captivated us—eliciting a few tears, indeed…

This week at Priors Mead, we joyfully commemorated St. Patrick's Day alongside baking and decorating green cupcakes - yummy! The residents thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Kingswood Shetlands and Friends ; Animal Assisted Therapy improves people's mental, physical, social and emotional functioning with the aid of animals which our residents really enjoyed. Further along in the week we enjoyed the remarkable vocals of one of our favourite singers; Andy. Our day was further brightened with delightful moments spent in the garden, enjoying balloon games under the Spring sunshine and relishing a delicious lunch.

This week at Prior's Mead has been bustling with activity. We kicked things off by sharing our photos from Mother's Day, ensuring all the Mums had a wonderful celebration. Happy belated Mother's Day to all!
Our week's activities began with the celebration of Jean's birthday, where she chose a takeaway from McDonald's along with McFlurrys, enjoyed by everyone. Midweek, we engaged in some Slow Yoga and gentle exercise led by Linley, helping us to improve our mood, strength and stay active. Later on, we were treated to the soothing sounds of Mark and his guitar, always bringing a smile to our faces. Tonight, we eagerly anticipate the lovely voice of Anthony, who will be performing live music for us.

Looking ahead to the weekend, we're excited to celebrate Red Nose Day with the fantastic tunes of Andy Mace. On Sunday, we'll raise a nice cold Guinness for St. Patrick's Day. Cheers to a wonderful week ahead!

This week at Priors Mead, we indulged in making our very own 'McDonalds' burgers and chicken nuggets that were scrumptious. Later in the week, we enjoyed a delightful outing to Earlswood Lake for a breath of fresh air, feeding the ducks along the way, followed by a comforting cup of hot chocolate. We also took time to unwind with some soothing colouring sessions, slowing down the pace of our busy week.

This week at Priors Mead, unfortunately rain stopped play and kept us indoors. However, we wasted no time in keeping ourselves busy with a variety of games and puzzles, we also indulged in some creativity with coloring and flower arranging. Midweek, we celebrated "Love Your Pet Day," showering our beloved cats Steve and Princess with affection and special treats. Wrapping up the week, we were treated to musical performances by our talented singers Andy Mace and Anthony Castleman.

This week at Prior Mead, we joyfully embraced the spirit of Chinese New Year by indulging in some delightful Chinese food. The festivities continued as we celebrated Peter's birthday, creating memorable moments together. We'd love for you to share in the joy and extend your birthday wishes to Peter! To cap off the week, we were visited by some adorable furry friends which added to this week's excitement.

This week at Priors Mead we have been bustling with activity! We embarked on two exciting outings. Our first adventure took us to Earlswood Lake, whilst the second outing treated us to a delightful lunch at The Beehive Pub. The warm atmosphere and delicious food brought broad smiles to our residents' faces. Back home and despite the chillier, wetter weather, we kept spirits high with a round of hook-a-duck. Additionally, we enjoyed crafting homemade pizzas and fruit salads together. To top it off, our dear resident Maureen received a heartwarming visit from her Neighbours, who brought along her cherished furry friend, Buttons, for some cuddles. We would also like to ask you to join us in welcoming the amazing Clare Page to our team as our new Activities Manager.

This week at Priors Mead was filled with enjoyment. We welcomed the delightful Kingswood Shetlands and Friends providing us with opportunities to interact with our furry and scaly friends. A couple of residents enjoyed going out and getting the car washed in the week, especially as they indulged in a cheeky McDonalds on the way back. The week concluded with a delightful surprise as one of the residents, Jenny, decided to dye her hair pink.
