🎉 Congratulations to Sandra Randall!

We’re delighted to share that Sandra Randall, Manager at Priors Mead Care Home, has officially received her CQC registration.

This means the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has carried out a detailed interview and assessment and has formally recognised Sandra as having the Level 5 knowledge, skills and professional standards required to manage a care home.

It’s a rigorous process and a significant professional milestone. We’re very proud of Sandra and the leadership she brings to Priors Mead every day.

Well done Sandra – a fantastic achievement. 👏

Mind, body and soul have been BUSY this January at Priors Mead. 💙

From creative hands-on sessions, to opera filling the room with goosebump moments, to gentle exercise (yes, even a bit of boxing flair 🥊), it’s been a month of moving, making and smiling together.

A big thank you to Vince for leading such brilliant exercise sessions, and to Demelza (in that beautiful blue dress 💙) for the spine-tingling opera that had us all quietly amazed.

Here’s to keeping hearts lifted, bodies moving, and minds curious all year long. ✨

🐰 Furry and scaly visitors at Priors Mead 🦎

Thanks to the lovely Kingswood Shetlands team, we had some extra-special guests this week — guinea pigs, rabbits, and even a bearded dragon!

There was plenty of curiosity, laughter, and gentle hands — quite a few happy bunnies that afternoon, not to mention leaping lizards and some very well-fed guinea pigs. 💛

Keeping fit by thinking outside the box

At Priors Mead, we believe that staying active is about more than just movement – it’s about keeping both body and mind strong. That’s why we love welcoming Vince, our dedicated fitness trainer, who brings fun and fresh ways to stay fit. From boxing gloves to balance exercises, Vince makes sure our residents enjoy keeping active while also keeping spirits high.
