🥓🍳 Carers Week 🍳🥓

What better way to start the weekend than with an amazing breakfast bap? All courtesy of our fantastic Head Chef Bruno our team were treated to breakfast baps filled with sausage, bacon, egg and hash browns!

We would also like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to our Kitchen Team, led by Head Chef Bruno, for all their hard work and support to treat the team throughout the week. From the daily smoothies to the breakfast baps and the prep for our lunchtime BBQ - they have all been wonderful!

🌞 Carers Week 🌞

Yesterday we continued our Carers Week celebrations with our daily smoothie, a fantastic BBQ lunch all prepped and cooked by Dean and Graham of our Maintenance Team, designed our own water bottles and finished the afternoon with our Team Awards (pictures to follow).

We have been having a great week so far, and we can't wait to see what the weekend brings!

🍦 Carers Week 🍦

To continue Carers Week, our team have enjoyed their daily smoothies and Tuesday's pizza lunch - unfortunately it was enjoyed and disappeared so quickly we weren't able to get lots of pictures! And yesterday was enjoyed our ice cream sundae station complete with sauces, sprinkles and smiles!

Today we are looking forward to our lunchtime BBQ and celebrating our team members' achievements this afternoon at our Team Awards!

🍷 Sunday Sherry Social 🍷

Every Sunday, our residents meet in our Milligan's Café to enjoy a glass of sherry together. Each week we pair this up with a different activity including quizzes, word wheels, reading the Daily Sparkle newspaper or Scattergories.

However, this week they tried out Shape Shifting with Activities Assistant Donna, and considering it was only the second time we had a go at this activity, they did pretty well! We think the Sherry may have helped!

Our Hilltops ladies had a lovely morning with Activities Assistant Donna creating their own fascinators for Ladies Day. We may not be attending the races but it doesn't mean we can't enjoy the fun of the day. We've donned our fascinators and will be tuning in this afternoon to watch The Oaks Races.
