We had a wonderful trip to Reigate priory bowling club today. Dungate Manor is proudly one of this year’s sponsors, it was a real pleasure to visit and meet the team in person.

Briony and Bob made us feel incredibly welcome, and we were treated to a fantastic demonstration and master class from Terry and Richard. Both our team and residents had the opportunity to get involved and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

It’s such a welcoming and friendly club. Set in the most beautiful surroundings. We’re already looking forward to attending the open day on Saturday, the 16th of May.

Residents at Dungate Manor Care Home in Reigate are already benefiting from the Adopt A Grandparent initiative, forming meaningful connections through regular video calls with volunteers.
The programme helps reduce loneliness and encourages intergenerational friendships, with residents enjoying one-to-one conversations, stories, and companionship. 💛
A special bond has already formed between resident Patricia and her volunteer Annie, who quickly connected over shared interests and life experiences.
Lifestyle Coordinator Fena shared: “It’s been incredibly moving to see our residents light up during these calls. For many, it’s something they truly look forward to.”
Supporting wellbeing and cognitive stimulation, the initiative is making a real difference for both residents and volunteers - proving meaningful connections can thrive at any distance. ✨

A wonderful week at Dungate Manor Care Home 💛

With our varied activity schedule, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Residents got creative making Easter bonnets and festive crafts, enjoyed lovely outings to the garden centre and coffee shop, and shared lots of laughter during fun parachute games. A week full of smiles, activity, and Easter cheer 🌸🐣
