The Minor Injury Unit (MIU) at Caterham Dene Hospital is open every day over from 8am to 8pm and is available for adults and children over the age of 5.
It is a walk-in service and no referral or appointment is required. You can call 111 if you would like to check if the MIU is the most appropriate service for you.
The MIU provides diagnosis and treatment for a range of conditions. For more information please visit: https://ow.ly/rGTe50XyZLi

Hospitals across Surrey remain busy.

You can help by choosing the right NHS service.

Only use A&E for medical emergencies.

For other health needs, use NHS 111, your GP, pharmacies or urgent treatment centres.

By doing this, you help keep emergency care available for those who need it most.

A portrait NHS-style information graphic in blue with red alert accents. At the top is a red banner reading “CRITICAL INCIDENT”. Below this, large text reads “Critical incident declared across most hospitals in Surrey Heartlands”.

Supporting text explains that local hospitals and NHS services are under significant pressure and that a critical incident has been declared to help keep patients safe and services running. The graphic asks the public to help by choosing the right NHS service.

A white box highlights the message “Only use A&E for life-threatening emergencies”, with advice underneath to use NHS 111, GPs, pharmacies, or urgent treatment centres for other health needs.

A final line explains that following this guidance helps keep emergency care available for those who need it most.]
