In light of the statements made by one person in the USA who has no medical qualifications please be reassured Paracetamol does not cause Autism, including if taken in pregnancy.

The Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency confirm that taking paracetamol during pregnancy remains safe and there is no evidence it causes autism in children.

Stopping smoking when close to pregnant women can reduce the chances of the baby being born small, too soon, and potentially sick.

Support can include:

✅️ Friendly, non judgmental appointments with a trained advisor.

🎯 Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) – NHS Weight Management Medication Update
📍 The Wall House Surgery
We’ve had lots of questions about Mounjaro® (tirzepatide) – a new NHS treatment being rolled out in phases to support weight management and related health conditions.

🔍 No need to contact us — we’ll be running searches of our patient records and will contact eligible patients directly as soon as possible. Please do not request an appointment for this.

✅ Who might be eligible?
The NHS has set clear criteria, including people with a high BMI and certain conditions such as:
Heart disease, stroke, or heart failure
High blood pressure or cholesterol
Type 2 diabetes
Obstructive sleep apnoea
🎯 Rollout is phased between 2025–2028, starting with those at highest clinical risk.

💊 Important:
This is NHS only – we are not able to offer private prescriptions
We must follow national guidance and cannot prescribe outside of the official eligibility and safety criteria

• Travel health advice and vaccinations
• Wound care, phlebotomy, ECGs, ear irrigation
• Supporting minor surgery and LARC clinics
• Health promotion and preventative care
• Liaising with GPs, HCAs, ARRS roles, and wider community services
• Contributing to safeguarding and continuity of care

Did you know you can view your test results in the NHS App?

You can see recent test results that have been added to your online GP health record, without having to phone us. Please allow 10 days for results to be commented on by the doctor that requested them.

Tests requested by secondary care / private providers will not be visible to us and the requester is responsible for sharing and explaining results with you.

Sometimes there are exclamation marks next to results, these may not always be clinically significant - the GP will comment where there are results that need action. You can also click on results to see if there have been recent changes.

You can view your results to track your response to lifestyle changes you make to your results eg. HbA1c (average glucose) and cholesterol. You can can also track changes that medication like statins or diabetes medicines have made to your levels. You can see https://www.healthysurrey.org.uk/ for help on making healthy changes.

If you are over 40 you may be eligible for an NHS health check. Please see https://www.nhs.uk/tests-and-treatments/nhs-health-check/ for more information and do book in for your health check if you haven't had one in the last 5 years.
