Grow and Glow is a free peer support group for women, meeting every Wednesday evening in Epsom, Guildford and Reigate.

It’s a space where you can just turn up, be yourself, and feel a bit lighter by the end of the night. Some of us talk loads, some just listen. There’s no pressure, no judgement – just a group of women showing up for each other each week.

✨ A little note from Charley ✨

This is your gentle reminder to take some time out. You can’t pour into other people’s cups if yours is empty.

I’m heading off on a much-needed holiday 🫶🏻 It’s been full on since starting the groups, and this is the first time I’ve properly stepped back in the year since we began — so it’s definitely time.

From 23 to 30 June, our main page, Instagram and emails won’t be monitored.

We’ve scheduled some lovely posts to go out while I’m away, so although it might look like we’re active, we’re not.

Our Grow and Glow groups in Epsom, Guildford and Reigate will still be running as normal, led by our brilliant facilitators.

Hi, I’m Tasha – the Reigate Grow and Glow facilitator. I wanted to share a little about my journey and how I came to be part of this group.

One year ago, I was ready to take my own life. Looking back now, it’s terrifying how close I came – and how easy that decision felt at the time.

I wrote out my goodbyes. Letters to my loved ones. Notes to friends who meant something to me. I even planned out my funeral, right down to the music playlist.

Thankfully, someone close to me noticed I wasn’t in a good place – though they didn’t know just how bad it was. That moment led me to the doctor, where I started medication. Around the same time, I remembered seeing a post about Grow and Glow.

Eventually, I found the courage to attend. For the first few weeks I said nothing – head down, no eye contact, just listening. I remember the first thing I ever shared was, “My rose is that I’m here for another week.” It was hard holding it together.

But week after week, I kept coming back. I slowly started opening up. The group felt so warm and welcoming – it made it easier to speak. I never wanted to miss a session.

Now, a year later, I’m so proud to be the lead facilitator for Reigate. I still carry the letters I wrote with me every day. One day, I hope I’ll feel ready to write a new one – a “one year on” letter – and read them all back.

THE MILES THAT CONNECTS US.

On August the 2nd I will be walking a 42 mile loop that connects all of our current grow and grow locations in one day. Along with our founder charley walking the 42 miles!, Other Grow and Glow facilitators and ladies that attend the groups, walking, cheering us on, doing anything they can to show their support! Any support counts and means the world to us!
For anyone who knows me, will know that im not one for walking or any sort of exercise. This is a huge task for my self but it is for such an important cause, close to my heart. This is to help raise vital funds to keep our womens mental health groups open and accessible to everyone who needs it! Our groups are free to everyone who attends as we want it to be available to anyone no matter their circumstances.

We can’t afford to let the ball drop when it comes to mental health. For women, for men, for anyone.

The most recent data shows that in 2023, the su***de rate for women in England and Wales rose to 5.7 deaths per 100,000. The highest it’s been since 1994.

That number isn’t just a statistic. It represents women who felt alone, women who didn’t feel heard, women who didn’t know where to turn.

At Grow and Glow, we’re trying to change that by offering space, support, and somewhere to talk without judgement.

We need to do more. Create space. Show up. Listen. Because no one should feel like they have to face things alone.

Back at tonight for show — one foot in the rave, one hand sharing what Grow and Glow is all about 💖

Thank you to for having us back again. We’ve had some brilliant conversations in the foyer and loved connecting with so many women.

And as always, we’re also spreading the word about and because mental health doesn’t discriminate, and everyone deserves a space to talk.

It’s always so powerful seeing how much this resonates with people. If you spotted us tonight, it was lovely to meet you!
