My body is screaming out in pain right now... I've lost weight, I've come off the prescription meds, I'm taking supplements, I'm drinking weird water from willow bark to alleviate what seems like galloping, rampant arthritis in every bone in my body...
Nothing doing, the pain is just growing, and life is becoming more limiting.
But then I had a thought... What if dis-ease isn’t just physical? What if what I'm feeling is my body screaming out under the weight of the dissonance in our global, collective consciousness?
Cos I gotta tell you, I’m not just tired. I’m bone-weary. Proper TIRED tired (and tired of being tired...) This has been so for months, like I’ve been carrying-some-kind-of-war-round-inside-me tired.
I've always been sensitive to energy, can easily suss a room, who to help, who to swerve, whether to be there at all. So I'm a bit of a cosmic tuning fork...
So now that the anger and grief and pain in the world is being released, as the collective consciousness has gone more than a little bit bonkers, my body (and our bodies) have become the battleground.
Our guts are the first casualties to this onslaught (I saw this on Tuesday with a client, whose stomach was grumbling the entire time I was working on her) -- and our nervous systems are on high alert for the next incoming salvo. So it's like we're on high cortisol standby the entire time we're awake and there aren't enough hours in the night to release it all in one hit, especially if we're so tired we can't sleep.
But, beneath all that external chaos, I realise it's not me, it's US. And there's comfort in knowing this because that's proof of how closely we are all connected if we would just let ourselves be...
So if you want a return to Oneness, it's time for an energetic detox:
(1) Salt baths, go early to bed (10pm latest), no more caffeine after 6pm, stay off social media (don't get drawn into the horrors of Palestine and elsewhere), wind down your use of electronic devices after 6pm and stay off the internet till the following day -- generally, just cut cords to people, places or things that are in pain, grief, rage.
(2) Do an internal detox and restore your microbiome, you do you your way (so I'm not going to tell you how as what I need might not be what you need) and learn what works for your body and your own wellbeing.
(3) Find your voice and use it, especially if you're a woman. Our voices have been stolen from us for too long. Don't sit in silence and swallow your words just to keep the peace or make others comfortable (especially if they're rubbishing you, your thoughts and feelings). If you live alone, SING yourself better. That's healing out loud! Get it out... Be out (and proud!)
No, this approach isn't peer reviewed; no, there isn't a tonne of medical data to prove this is the right course of action. There never could be, we ain't been through this before!
But you’ll find the evidence in thousands of souls (like us) who are currently being forged in the fire...
You're not broken, you're tired. And it's simply time for a system reboot. Then our network of connections will have recalibrated and this system upgrade will be firing on all cylinders...
