🌟 Thank You for a Wonderful Evening! 🌟

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the Kesgrave sound bath last night and this year. Your presence and support mean the world to me, especially as we wrap up an incredible year of classes in Kesgrave.

As some of you may know, I will be having surgery in December. While I focus on my recovery, I’m pleased to announce that classes will resume in February next year. I can’t wait to share more soothing experiences with you all!

Thank you again for your kindness and encouragement. The last sound bath of this year is next Thursday the 27th November in Felixstowe.

Imagining yoga not as a workout but as a way of living opens up a profound perspective on its practice and philosophy. Traditionally, yoga encompasses much more than the physical postures (asanas) that many associate with it today. It is a holistic discipline that integrates the body, mind, and spirit, aiming for a balanced and harmonious life.

At its core, yoga is about connection, connecting with oneself, others, and the universe. This broader understanding encourages mindfulness in daily activities, promoting awareness of thoughts and actions. Instead of merely focusing on flexibility or strength, practitioners would emphasise cultivating compassion, patience, and self-acceptance.

If yoga were viewed primarily as a way of living, daily routines might incorporate the principles of yoga in various ways. For instance, one could approach meals with mindful eating practices, focusing on gratitude and awareness of the food’s origins. Stressful situations could be met with mindful breathing techniques, allowing individuals to respond rather than react.

Moreover, relationships could be nurtured through the yogic tenets of non-violence (ahimsa) and truthfulness (satya). This approach would foster deeper connections, understanding, and empathy in interpersonal dynamics.

Friday 21st November - Kesgrave Community and Conference Centre

Thursday 27th November - The Welcome Hall, Trimley St. Mary

These sessions are all about creating a space for relaxation and connection through sound.

If you’ve ever felt the calming power of music or sound, you know how transformative it can be.

During the sound bath, we’ll use various instruments, like crystal bowls and gongs, to help facilitate deep relaxation and a sense of peace.
