I am sad to say that as of the 25th of December, G&S Cakes will be taking a break.

It breaks my heart to say that over the last few months sales have been low and because of this I have lost passion in what I’ve loved doing for the last five years.

When I started this business, I didn’t realise how successful it would be become. It has been an amazing 5 years and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

When I moved back to Renfrew, I moved in with my grandparents and the agreement was if I wanted to have my cake business in the house I had to use cake profits to cover the extra utilities being used. However due to low sales, I’m now not able to cover these cost anymore.

To all my loyal customers, followers, friends and family who have supported me throughout the years; thank you all from the bottom of my heart with everything you’ve done for me, you truly mean the world to me.

Regarding orders that have been already placed, these will still be completed. I would not let anybody down for a cake order, I’ve only ever had to do this once and that was because I had to go for surgery.

You can still place an order for anytime up until the 24th of December.

I have decided I’m going to do a Christmas bake sale on the 24th for one last time.

This decision was not made easy. I’ve been discussing with family for awhile now and I had to go with what was best for me at this moment.

At the moment, me and my partner are trying to save up to buy a house and also I am trying to focus on my health. For once I need to put me first.

Thank you so much for the support you have given these last five years and I will return at some point in the near future.
