March is Brain Tumour Awareness Month in the UK.

Over 12,000 people per year are diagnosed with a brain tumour in the UK – which means raising awareness is crucial.

3 March 2026 is World Hearing Day.

Hearing loss can happen gradually, which means it's not always easy to notice at first. You might find yourself turning the TV up louder than usual, asking people to repeat themselves or struggling to follow conversations in noisy places.

Looking after your ears – by avoiding prolonged exposure to loud noise, using ear protection when needed and seeking advice if you notice changes – can help protect your hearing long term.

If you have any concerns about your hearing, it's a good idea to book a hearing test. Many high street opticians and audiologists offer free hearing assessments that you can book at your convenience.

During this time our practice will be operating as emergency appointments only while the new system is installed and our team completes their training.
