In loving memory of Anne Messer.

Anne beloved Mum of her late son Scott, his partner Carol, and to her daughter Lesley-Anne and her husband Scott. Gran to Kyle, Blair and Willow. Adored sister to Tom, Joan, Marie and John, treasured sister-in-law, auntie, family member and dear friend to many.

Anne passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth hospital on Thursday 4th September 2025, she will be missed deeply.

A funeral service will be held at St Mirin's Cathedral, Paisley, on Monday 22nd September at 10am, followed by a committal at the Hurlet Crematorium, to which all who knew Anne are respectfully invited.

In loving memory of Eric John Cordiner.

Eric, beloved husband of Pauline, father to Steven and his wife Christine, granda to Alannah and Lauren, adored uncle, treasured family member and dear friend.

Eric passed away peacefully following a long illness at the Accord Hospice on Wednesday 27th August 2025. He was surrounded by his family who will miss him deeply.

A funeral service will be held at Woodside Crematorium, Paisley on Friday 12th September at 12pm, to which all who knew Eric are respectfully invited.

There will be a collection offered at the service in Eric's memory for the benefit of the Accord Hospice, for those who wish to donate.

Ellen, beloved wife of the late William (Billy), Mother to William (Wullie), Mother in law to Joanne, Granny to Amy and Cara, beloved Sister, family member and dear friend.

Ellen passed away peacefully but suddenly at home following a long illness with her family by her side, on the 20th August 2025.

Margaret passed away peacefully at home on the 16th August 2025, with her family by her side.

Direct cremation is not for everyone...
.. but for those who choose a direct cremation, did you know your local funeral directors all carry out this service. Often they will do so for less than the direct cremation only companies advertised on television.

The Silver Rose have a set fee of £1250 for a direct cremation service, we can also offer the service as a funeral plan for your future at additional cost. We offer a Funeral Home Service at our Renfrew office (followed by an unattended direct cremation), which includes a celebrant fee, for £2250.

Direct cremation is not for everyone, and many people misunderstand how limited the service is. For those who can find enough closure to offer themselves and their loved ones, direct cremation has been a respectful choice... many choose to later have a memorial service in their own time, in their own style and on their own terms.

For those who feel railroaded into direct cremation due to the high cost of the traditional funeral service, your funeral director can give you information on what support might be available to you.

In loving memory of Catherine Sinnott

Catherine, beloved wife of the late Alan, adored Mum of Evelyn, Craig & Heather, Gran to Kris, Lucy, Jack, Paige, Harry, Evan, Bella & the late Eva, sister to George and the late William & Alec. Treasured family member and dear friend to many.

Catherine passed away suddenly on 12th July 2025 with her family by her side. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at the Erskine Church of Nazarene (Rashielee Avenue, Erskine, PA86HA) on Tuesday 29th July 2025 at 1245pm, to which all who knew Catherine are respectfully invited. Catherine's family will be having a short private committal prior to the service.

In Loving memory of Nicholas (Nicky) McKenzie

Nicky, beloved husband of the late Nan. Adored father of Nick and Alison. Grandfather to Cameron, Robbie, Niall & Eilidh. Great grandfather to Eoghan & Grayson. Survived by two siblings, treasured are the memories of this dear family member and friend.

Nicky passed away peacefully at Robertson House with his wonderful carers by his side. He will be missed deeply.
