It’s been a lovely week so far here at Bradshaw Manor 🥰 We were delighted to welcome Blue, our much-loved therapy dog, who always brings so much joy to our residents 🐾.

We also enjoyed a wonderful sing-along with Abbey, who played the keyboard beautifully 🎶. To top it off, our ladies celebrated National Coconut Day in style with a special afternoon tea and piña coladas 🥥

Very busy week at Bradshaw Manor! We celebrated Terri and David's birthday, our memory lane residents enjoyed some colouring, we made jam tarts, and enjoyed a game of archery in the garden.

We also treated the gents to a pie and pint in our on-site pub, The Bradshaw Arms.

Last week at Bradshaw Manor

It’s been a busy and creative week! Residents spent time painting colourful butterflies 🦋 to brighten up the garden and prepared a fresh fruit salad 🍓 to enjoy together.

There were lots of smiles when Blue, the therapy dog, stopped by for a visit, bringing plenty of comfort and cuddles. 🐾

With the sunshine making an appearance, we relaxed on the patio, enjoying ice cream sundaes 🍨 with music playing in the background.

To finish off the week, a small group enjoyed a trip to the local garden centre, picking out some lovely plants for our outdoor space. 🌸

It's time for your Bradshaw Manor weekly round up! 📅

Our week was filled with music thanks to a wonderful sing-along with Mark Whitby from The Music Memory Café. We also got a little competitive with a game of archery in the garden!

Some of our veterans had a fantastic day out, visiting the RAF open day at Rhyl Events Arena and stopping by the RNLI lifeboat station.

Henry, Les and Sue enjoyed a delicious lunch out at a local pub.

And the fun isn't over yet! We've been getting crafty, preparing for our upcoming Hawaiian party. 🌺

Over the weekend, our residents had a sweet time making their very own Eton Mess — a delicious activity enjoyed by all! 🍨

Meanwhile, Brian, Kath, and Keith headed out for a lovely meal and a refreshing shandy at the local pub. 🍻🍽️

It is with great sadness that due to unforseen circumstances, we have taken the decision to postpone our summer fayre this Saturday until a later date, which will be confirmed within the coming weeks. Our raffle in the reception area will still be held, and the draw will be extended until the 15th August at our hawaiian party!

Friday fun at Bradshaw Manor. 😀 David and Brian had a lovely trip to Pensarn on Friday, where they enjoyed a tasty lunch at Pantri Bach Café followed by some classic fun at the arcades 🎰

Meanwhile, our Memory Lane residents spent the afternoon baking delicious sausage rolls, and the smell was irresistible 🥖

It’s been a fun-filled week at Bradshaw Manor.

Residents enjoyed a relaxing trip to the local garden centre, while our Memory Lane group got competitive with a lively archery game.

We also had a sweet time baking cakes and making chocolate lollipops, which didn’t last long once they were made!😄
