FUNGAL NAIL TREATMENT PROGRESS.

a 6 week review today for my lovely client who started their fungal nail treatment with us 6 weeks ago. This isn't a quick fix and it takes dedication and time, but look how well these nails are doing after their first appointment with us 6wks ago. You can see how the fungus has reduced already, the smaller nail has responded incredibly well. Safe to say my patient is very pleased 😍

This is your reminder to stepaway from the corn plasters (containing acid)

Medicated corn plasters are a big NO NO for me and here's why 👇

❌️contains acid which burns the skin
❌️can not differentiate from good skin and hard skin therefore damages good skin
❌️will not enucleate the corn
❌️risking ulceration

Have you corn safetly treated by your Podiatrist and we can give you the appropriate self care advice to help stop it coming back

👣 Meet Roxy – Our New Podiatrist! 👋

We’re thrilled to welcome Roxy Durrant to the team at Slaters Podiatry!

Roxy brings over 12 years of experience in both the NHS and private sector, having worked across the country – from Oxford to Preston and everywhere in between.

She holds a 2:1 podiatry degree and has a special interest in vascular wound care, completing a dedicated module with distinction. Roxy is especially confident in wound care, nail surgery, and biomechanical assessments – including the design and prescription of custom insoles.

Originally from Old Colwyn, Roxy is also a proud mum to Harry and Lulu. Her friendly, compassionate nature and expert care make her a fantastic addition to our clinic.
