🌡️ **Important Advice for GLP-1 Agonists Users During the Heatwave**
Due to the upcoming heatwave, it is essential to store your injection pens **in the fridge** as advised in the manufacturer’s leaflet.

🚫 **Do NOT use the pens** if they appear damaged or compromised in any way.
✅ Once dispensed, the safe storage of your medication becomes your responsibility. **Do not leave the pens in the heat**, as they are only temperature-controlled while in the pharmacy.

💧 **Stay safe and cool** by following these tips:
- Drink plenty of fluids (monitor your urine—**it should be light in color**)
- Stay in cool environments where possible
- Don’t skip meals
- Contact the pharmacy if you experience **any side effects**, even minor ones—please don’t wait for your next appointment

☀️ If you develop signs of **heatstroke**, please contact us **immediately** to discuss whether you should continue using your GLP-1 inhibitors.

Taking over a pharmacy with 100+ years of history is a challenge. Additionally doing it in a village with a history of celebrating pharmacists is even more challenging. However, you all as a community have proved yet again how much you value the contribution of our little pharmacy. We as a team sincerely thank the local community from the bottom of our hearts for the accolades we received recently from the House of Commons. We are fortunate and proud to be a part of this kind village. Our commitment to your care is strong and this motivates us to do even more.

Our local MP visited our pharmacy to present the frame. She also listened to the financial difficulties little independent pharmacies like us are facing.
