Why are we holding A Day and Night with Alpha Minds?

Well, a few years ago, during Covid, my family went through one of the hardest times of our lives. One of my daughters was struggling badly with her mental health and made an attempt on her life. It shook us all to the core. She spent months in a young personsā€™ mental health unit, and while being apart was incredibly tough, it was what she needed at that time.
Through that experience, we saw just how stretched and under pressure mental health services really are. I knew something had to change, and thatā€™s when Alpha Minds began. At first it was just a simple ā€œwalk and talkā€ group for men, but it quickly became clear that families in the area needed something like this too. From there, it grew into the community we are today.
The support for Alpha Minds and for this event has been overwhelming, and I canā€™t thank you all enough. Thatā€™s why Iā€™d love for you to join me and the team for ā€œA Day and Night with Alpha Mindsā€ on the 4th of October from 3pm. A night to come together, to share, and to keep building something positive out of something that once nearly broke us.

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to three incredible women ā€” Sharon, her mum Moira, and her aunty Pauline!

On Monday 11th August, they set out on an amazing 15-mile adventure to raise money for Alpha Mindsā€¦ and their efforts paid off in the best way possible! Together, they raised a phenomenal Ā£1,015 šŸ¤©šŸ‘
We are beyond grateful for your kindness and dedication.
Your support means the world to us and helps us continue the work we do for mental health in our community.
