First Contact Physiotherapists

We're pleased to announce that our practice now has two First Contact Physiotherapists available for patient appointments. They are highly trained specialists who can assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal issues as your first point of contact. This means faster access to expert care and more support for your health needs.

Please speak to the reception team to book an appointment.

Our vaccination clinics start from 1st of October – All eligible patients can book via NHS Wales App, by ringing the surgery or wait for a text booking link to book your flu jab with us!

* Patients aged 75 & over ➡️ You will be contacted by the Mass Vaccination Centre to invite you for the flu and Covid vaccination done here at the surgery.
* All eligible patients under 75 ➡️ You will be sent a self-booking link 📨.

We have recently noticed instances of graffiti on some of the seating within the surgery. We kindly ask all patients to treat the premises with respect. At Clarence Medical Centre, we are committed to maintaining and providing a welcoming, pleasant environment for everyone. Acts of vandalism undermine these efforts and are taken seriously.

Weight Loss Treatment notice:

We are unable to give Mounjaro or any drugs in this class (GLP1) on prescription for weight loss at this time. GLP1 medication is approved in Wales for weight loss however, this is accessed through the specialist weight loss management service and requires a referral to them.

We are happy to discuss your weight and offer helpful advice and signpost you to appropriate resources.

Linda Nurse Practitioner, and Donna our assistant practitioner, are attending the Women's Health Conference today at the Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl. The conference runs from 9 am to 4 pm and features informative presentations on women's health and wellbeing 👩🏻‍⚕️

Over 70 health and wellbeing information stalls are available, providing opportunities to engage with various health services and organisations.

The event is free and open to all, offering opportunity to explore important topics in women’s health 🚺
