Electronic prescriptions are now here. All you need to do is tell your preferred pharmacy that you want to use them going forward and give your consent to EPS - we can continue to order and manage your prescription on your behalf. Let your pharmacy team know today!

PLEASE NOTE that we are experiencing issues with deliveries from our main supplier. Unfortunately they had a vehicle crash yesterday and a driver hospitalised - this has impacted the supply chain as they try to ensure all pharmacies get the stock that they need. If you are waiting on items that we owe you, there may be a further delay. If you urgently need your medicines we may need to refer you elsewhere. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

From April, all 3 of our shops will introduce a charge for deliveries and monitored dosage systems (trays). The attached letter gives more detail, but charges will be as follows:

Deliveries
£5 per month or £50 per year for an individual
£7.50 per month or £75 per for a household (for example, a couple having their medication delivered to the same address)

MDS (trays)
£15 per month or £150 per year (please note there is no additional fee for delivery)

For patients of Meddygfa Cwm Rhymni Practice. Those of you who have your prescriptions via the automatic ordering system at either our Rhymney or Pontlottyn branches do not need to do anything in preparation for the surgery changing their computer systems. We will order your medication early and have it ready for you in the pharmacy at your usual collection time. This does take a fair bit of organising, so you may need to wait a few minutes when collecting your medication. Please bear with us as we make sure your medication is dispensed safely and correctly. Thank you
