Today's mindfulness in action was to just simply watch my girl play. She wanted to do her 'Yoda' when she got in with . I miss so much when my face is in a laptop or a phone. To watch her concentrate on just one thing made me question when exactly we loose that .

Week one of teaching Mindfulness for Stress Course with the lovely

Our mindfulness in daily life suggestion this week was to do one thing mindfully. This morning I managed to get a time wrong for my appointment, leaving me with 2.5 hours to kill. Normally a stressor for me, but last night's class was a reminder to respond not react.

Being by the beach it was the perfect place for some mindfulness. Feet in the sand, gentle waves, hot chips in hand and some actual sunshine!
