Today is ‘Restart a Heart Day’ an initiative introduced by the Resuscitation Council UK.

The aim is to increase the number of people who survive out of hospital cardiac arrest by helping more people learn CPR.

Here at A&E Training Ltd we believe everyone should know CPR and how to use a defibrillator.

As founders of Heart of Richmond and co-founders of Heart of Catterick we have raised funds for 23 live defibs in Richmond and 3 live defibs in Catterick. We won’t stop there and continue to work towards more defibs in both locations. With all these defibs would you know what to do if the situation arose?

Mental Health is discussed in our office frequently and not just on Mental Health Awareness days like today.

We believe everyone at work should discuss and talk openly about their mental health, but who can you talk to?

Our courses train your staff to become Mental Health First Aiders.

We can train you to start a conversation, listen and sign post your staff of places to find help when they need it. Interested? Then pop over to our website and look at the courses we have on offer.

We can offer onsite training for all our courses, so no need to travel or spend more time out the office than is needed for your course.

Friday is 'World Mental Health Day'. A great opportunity for us to come together to talk about Mental Health and show everyone that it matters.

Talking is good for your mental health. Talking about it is important, but, starting a conversation is not easy.

You will hear about real life situations, practice CPR and learn how to use a defibrillator on manikins.
