The Terrace care home Our dedicated team provides high-quality residential, dementia and short-term respite care. There's even a bar and hair salon.

The Terrace provides a range of quality care services for older people in beautiful surroundings. The skilled and experienced team provides permanent and short-term residential and dementia care, including for people with physical disabilities. Set in a Victorian building, The Terrace retains its ornate stonework and high ceilings. Each bedroom is different: some are very spacious, some offer fantastic countryside views and others open onto the gardens and have their own patio area. There are also different communal spaces where residents can socialise with friends and visitors, take part in activities or spend quiet time reading and relaxing. The gardens are a big feature and perfect for the summer.

Well team terrace we did it again, another successful bringing the seaside into the home day. I would like to thank 2 of our residents joining me in dressing in the 1920's swim wear. They have enjoyed reminiscing about there trips to the sea and sing along to oh I do like to be by the sea while enjoying fish and chips from castle fisheries a thank you to them from residents and staff .even Sadie the friendship dog that visits enjoyed an ice cream residents enjoyed playing hook a duck passing the beach ball even blowing bubbles so much laughter

We would like to say a big THANK YOU to Sally from Ashford cottage design and Catherine from Yorkshire Dale River Trust for coming and doing a 6 week project which was funded by the National lottery heritage fund, raising awareness of rivers and wildlife.
Our residents have enjoyed the project and the end result is amazing
Sadly we lost one of our residents who was involved with this project, she will never be forgotten.this will be on display in the home and it is going into an exhibition in Hawes next year.
