The Terrace provides a range of quality care services for older people in beautiful surroundings. The skilled and experienced team provides permanent and short-term residential and dementia care, including for people with physical disabilities. Set in a Victorian building, The Terrace retains its ornate stonework and high ceilings. Each bedroom is different: some are very spacious, some offer fant

astic countryside views and others open onto the gardens and have their own patio area. There are also different communal spaces where residents can socialise with friends and visitors, take part in activities or spend quiet time reading and relaxing. The gardens are a big feature and perfect for the summer.

One of our lovely ladies Freda asked if she could have afternoon tea, so we sat down and chatted about what she would like ?
We got it planned and she said she would like a piece of chocolate cake 🎂 which we got for her.
Resident Ann helped me by making the sandwiches and setting up the table
Freda was very emotional as she didn't expect it to be as good as this thank she replied

Residents have enjoyed an afternoon of games and laughter from one of our local secondary school St. Francis Xavier. The students are part of a student leadership group called SVP (St Vincent de Paul), which means that they have committed to supporting the elderly, vulnerable and essentially anyone who needs support from others.
It's so nice to see the interaction and just listening talking and laughing

Our lovely residents have enjoyed picking out their horse out of the hat for the grand national. we would like to say congratulations to Andy and Vernon for picking out the winner horse hope you enjoy your galaxy bar. Residents have enjoyed watching the grand national and the other races.

It has been so nice to take a resident down town, we called at meynell to catch up with John as Maurice hadn't seen him for a long time, so it was nice to hear them talking about the olds and he informed one of Maurice past neighbours had passed away we the went to the friary garden where Maurice enjoyed a Taylors pork pie on the way back he was telling about different parts of Richmond.
