UPDATE: Power has been restored. We are working hard to clear any backlog which has accrued during this time. We appreciate your patience with us.

We are experiencing another power cut and therefore have lost all systems and have no telephones. Please be patient with us whilst we work through this issue. This will lead to a further delay in prescribing and dealing with patient queries.

When will my prescription be ready?

In order to prescribe safely, we are on a 5 working day turnaround. Depending on how many medications you have and the type of medications you have, the time it takes to process your request can vary, especially if we have to order your medications. As we do not work weekends, if you place an order on a weekend, we will not process this until the next working day.

We kindly ask that you wait the 5 working days before contacting dispensary or wait for your text message to say it is ready for collection.

We appreciate your cooperation with this.

URGENT NOTICE: We have another power cut. Although Northern Power Grid planned this one, they didn't think to tell us about it so we've been unable to plan at all for it.

We are doing our best to protect fridge medications and we're hopeful that this will be a short outage. It will undoubtedly have a severe impact on our service for the rest of the day, however and there will be a delay with issuing medications in dispensary for at least the rest of the week.

Thank you once again for being understanding with our staff as we recover.

Good news! Our power was restored this evening at 10pm. Internet and phone lines are also back on. Thank you to everyone for your understanding today 🙂

Tuesday will not be business as usual, however. We haven't been able to order medications or process prescription requests all day and we have had to move all our vaccines and medicines that need to be refrigerated off site. It may well be that some of these have to be disposed of because of the fridges being off.

All of this, the likely further outages as the power line faults are repaired and the generator removed and the bank holiday weekend combined are likely to mean there will be continued disruption for the coming week.

Please bear with us as we get back to normal.

URGENT NOTICE

We currently have no telephone or internet at the practice. We can't make or receive calls, prescribe or access records.

If you have sent us an e-consult it will come through once we have internet again but until then we can't see it.

This is due to an issue with our electrical supply. Northern power grid are currently working on it and expect to have restored this at some point today.

Thanks you for bearing with us. Unfortunately this issue is completely beyond our control.
