Energize Me

Energize Me Through creative, inspiring and balanced guidance, I will help you to overcome stress and overwhelm Don't take just my word for it though.

Is it any wonder that so many of us are losing the battle for work/life balance, our health and in some cases our sanity when we are constantly being faced with

• world traumatic events and media on relentless ‘fear’ alert
• parents having to home-school whilst struggling to provide for
and keep up with their children's demands
• companies having to reduce staff numbers
• self-employed people doing all they can with little or no time off

and everyone still wants everything within an instant? Stress and anxiety - poor concentration - lack of energy - relationship breakdowns - burnout - loss of identity

Perhaps you can identify with one or more of these and perhaps you've tried medications and conventional ways of treating these symptoms but nothing is really working to alleviate them properly! If this is the case, then it’s more important than ever to really ‘hit that pause button’ in order to breathe deeply, take stock, and find new ways to a place of peace, power and resilience. You CAN achieve a harmony of working, parenting and living, by re-connecting to your true self and value. From someone who’s gone ‘through the mill’ (both in personal life and in the workplace), I know what it feels like to have been in that 'pit'. The good news is that through my experiences and my training, I have learned how to come out of those dark tunnels and into the light to shine brightly again. I know what it takes to release it all, to build the resilience required to thrive, find joy, empowerment and to regain a real zest for life – and this is what I can pass onto you! I am told that I am known as a creative and inspiring change-maker, who will ignite your inner-health champion and inspire you in unconventional ways. Those who work with me, soon notice the power of the experiential learning process I take them through. With intuitive insight and empathy and my tenacious and determined nature, I can assure my clients with confidence that they will get what they come for. Michelle Gascoine says "Susanne’s energy and preparation for her classes and programmes result in all participants benefiting to the maximum- she guides you through every step with love and care."

Good morning 😃

It's raining outside… and as I looked at the downpour and the dark sky that impacted the light in the house, I thought…

Is that a reason to bring it 'inside' me?

Whilst environment can indeed have an impact on us...especially when repetitious... let's remember that our imagination is our most powerful mental faculty and that we can use it to find ways to reframe, re-imagine, refocus and transform what might otherwise weigh heavily on us.

Notice how you may be allowing yourself to be 'programmed' by what's 'out there'... and change the tragetory or your life by changing your mindset yourself.

That light within is always there.

Bring it to the front …you can do it… you can! 💖

If you need help and support... let's chat.

Chooseday Tuesday - I choose change with intention.

Change is inevitable ... nothing stands completely still... life continues whether we try to stop it or not.

There is a distinct 'change in the air outside' with the start of this new month...

change in weather, temperature... change in sunrise and sunset.

What about change in outlook? Would you like to add a few thoughts that come to your mind too?

This photograph, which I took a few years ago, pops up time and again in my memories and I find that it is such a beautiful example of 'light within the twists and turns'... that I like to use it every so often to repurpose its message.

"No matter how many twists and turns you come across, let the light shine through again and again. It will find its way."

Sometimes we block the light… even if not consciously…

sabotaging our own progress and by doing so we stagnate, not noticing that we are just standing in our own way.

I speak from my own experience too but know that patience, perseverance and faith in our self and the universe is what it takes to keep going.

And so I encourage you to stay on the path of your dreams…look toward the light and breathe gratitude through your heart for every little step along the way.

Is this not the 'art of well-being'?🥰💚

One of the first creative activities we'll be doing at next month's day-retreat will be bringing out our own inner-light... after having embraced and felt through the dark. It's a profound experience - you could say transformative.

For the Woman Who Needs a Reset...
"She couldn’t quite put her finger on it…
But she’d been feeling a bit off.
Untethered.
Disconnected from her joy.
It wasn’t burnout exactly, just a sense of heaviness — and a craving for something to remind her how full life can feel when she’s really in it.
'Field of Dreams' offered the exact kind of reset her soul had been whispering for.
A peaceful half-day retreat that included
A wander into the woodland to be held by the earth
To bathe and breathe in the air of the trees she was surrounded by
whilst being gently guided through a beautiful meditation.
To connect with the abundance that nature offered her and
create soulful art to guide her back to her own joy, abundance, and creative spark.
She didn’t need to explain herself. She just needed to come.
And in doing so — she left with a painting in her hands, a glow in her heart, and a quiet “yes” blooming again within her." 🌿 🌸 💗

As we immerse ourselves into this exploration of life as it is, and all the possibilities it holds for each of us, this workshop will serve as a sacred space for gratitude and awakening.
🙏
Giving you the opportunity to explore the concept of abundance and how it manifests in our lives will help you to recognize the power you hold within, to shape your reality and delve into practices that will awaken the potential within you. Connect and capture the essence of your dreams and aspirations ...paint your way into your visions.

Perhaps you're a mum who's already looking at the calendar thinking…
“Six weeks. How am I going to keep it all together?”

This half-day retreat is a perfect gift to fill your own cup before the summer whirlwind begins.

Let yourself be
Held by the Earth and nature
Guided through creative expression
Given space to breathe, reconnect and recharge

So you can return home feeling topped up, lighter, and just a little more ready for the summer juggle.

If you could 'speak without words'... what might that sound like? What might that even look like?
Part 3:

She thought she didn’t have an artistic bone in her body.

Yet...something inside her ached to express... express in other ways than usual... for sometimes she couldn’t even find the words to describe what was going on inside her.

On this day, she chose to trust the ache... to explore.
And when she saw the brush, she took it in hand.
She looked at the colours before her and noticed which ones were calling.

It was time to let the colours speak — not in perfect shapes or meanings — but in movement.
Circles, spirals, lines that made no sense to her mind… but felt exactly right to her soul.
Emotions poured through those colours.
No judgment.
No critique.
Only these thought:
“Is this what it looks like to begin trusting yourself again?

What if this is how freedom begins?”
----------

You don’t need to be “an artist” to speak in colour.
You only need a safe space to listen inward and let your hands follow.
In our Field of Dreams retreat, you’ll do just that.
No perfection.
No judgement.
Just 'soul-speak' in shapes, colours, contours and contrasts.

It was meant to be. 🌹🙏🏻

After waiting for most of the day for the rain to subside so I could walk down to the Post Office and send off the Certificate of Authenticity and my gift to the couple who bought the ‘Just to Know You’ painting…
On route I passed these gorgeous red roses cascading over a garden fence. I was so enamoured by them, I just had to take the photos you see, whilst at the same time thinking “what a shame I don’t have my clippers with me - how I would love to have a couple of these, they’re so beautiful ”! 😂

Well lo and behold … when I got to the Post Office … look what was waiting for me!😃

Have you ever bought flowers for yourself before - and specifically red roses?
Well I’ve bought flowers for myself very occasionally… but never roses and certainly never red roses. I’ve only ever been given them.

But today was different. I have been in quite a different energy just recently… just wonderful… and as I looked into those roses, it almost felt as if they were calling me… I just couldn’t resist.

“Why not?” I asked myself “I have grown to love you.”

So, today was the first day ever in my nearly 67 years that I did this! Not only did I feel comfortable about it but I also felt I deserved them.
Rather than waiting for a future ‘sweetheart’ to buy me some, I purchased them with love for myself.

Whilst it might seem like something trivial to you… the significance for me personally is big.

How would you feel about buying red roses for yourself as an expression of self-love?

I’m so intrigued. Do tell. 🥰

It’s Monday again… yes again… another loop… another cycle… but THIS Monday is different. Three words…
Mental Health Awareness
At least, it is being observed here in the UK… and I’m contemplating.
I’m including myself in contemplating all that affects our capacity to be able to feel healthy not just physically but mentally and spiritually too.

Today also happens to be the Full Moon. The energies are high (as are the tides)… and it’s a good time to think about what to let go of.
Hmm… I’ve been thinking about what to give up… whether I need to face a truth or whether that ‘truth’ is just an illusion.

Thing is… we’re just not all good at all things - and what creates resistance in us must be addressed.
Whilst some things are ‘those that must done‘… if we are not good at them … it’s not always because we need more practice.
Keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result and that’s what?
Perhaps you know of a certain famous man who gave us the answer!

If our hearts are not engaged… if what we are doing doesn’t make us ‘come alive’… we end up repelling the very thing that we are endeavouring to draw to us.

One of those things for me is the constant presence on screen. Sometimes I get so tired from it… I truly feel like throwing the ****** iPhone or the laptop out of the window! 🤬

I don’t like the feeling of being ‘beholden’ to it… it truly feels like that to me at times because ‘that’s how business and everything else is done these days’.

But then again… there IS that social and connective aspect to it. So at times, it seems as if I’m in a ‘love/hate relationship with it and that feels like a conundrum.

With the interference of the algorithm, we don’t even know who actually gets to see what we’ve been sharing and communicating … and that can create a feeling of competing with something that we really have no control over.

Does this create overwhelm in you too at times? I really only get this from the digital world.

An underlying feeling of constantly being in competition is not healthy… it can also create what is known as FOMO… and a certain level of anxiety that hardly ever shuts off.

💚That’s why I take myself into the woods - to connect with nature and Mother Earth.

💚That’s why I get out the colouring pencils and paper or paints and canvas…

💚That’s why I meditate and listen to music that speak to my heart and soul…

so that I can get back into just ‘being’.

And then along comes a memory… like the picture below… and we are given a rather lovely reminder that makes us smile and helps us to reframe things for ourselves. 😊

What are your thoughts on all of this? I’d love to know.

What helps you to shut off from the digits
world?

What keeps You in the ‘Art of Wellbeing’?

Happy Monday🌸

We were just coming to the end of the exercise and one of the counsellors noticed how much her ‘doodling’ was already changing the energy and perspective around what she had started with. 🥰

This brought me to the subject of the magic of neurographic art - how it can help to CREATE NEW NEURAL PATHWAYS in your brain… removing limiting beliefs and fog... releasing unhealthy emotions... bringing clarity and upliftment.

There are more studies now that show it can be really beneficial for those with ADHD, getting them to focus and be in full presence in ways they haven’t been able to with other things.

It’s quite remarkable really and requires no drawing or artistic skills. 😃

🌟Unlock Your Flow’ 🌟… the first session in ‘The Art of Well-being’ series happens to have neurographic art as its main creativity project. So who do you know who may benefit from this?

Just a couple of days till we kick-off:
This Saturday 29th March online through Zoom, starting at 2pm.

What is it that draws a person to want to work with others who are suffering with mental health? It’s not exactly an easy path to go down. What is it that drives a person to do anything that they are truly passionate about?

It’s usually to do with a personal connection, would you not agree? An experience (or several) ...something that can be related to, plus a deep desire to want to bring about change - either because it is something that we have always wanted to do, or it is something that we desperately want to get away from, so that we can have different results.

It is often noted that those who rise to great heights or make the biggest differences in the world, are usually inspired to do so through their own adversities. And so, it is in this context that Susanne started on her own road of transformation because 18 years ago her young son's life-threatening condition of asthma was reaching very worrying levels. With emergency visits to the hospital becoming more frequent and frightening, she was almost desperate to find other ways to help him overcome this condition and the initial help came in the form of a liquid nutritional product, recommended by a friend.
