There are a vast range of options when arranging a funeral and Grace has encountered many different kinds of requests over the last 22 years while serving Lewes, Ringmer and surrounding villages. To her knowledge, all of these have been accommodated to ensure that each funeral is a fitting tribute to those she is caring for. Where possible, Grace tries her utmost to give you her personal attention from the initial arrangements, to the day of the funeral and beyond, so you are ensured the continuity of a familiar face.

Recent weeks have been tough.

The lovely Jilly gave me so much of her time when I first opened my business in 2017, before I could afford or take the risk employing staff.

She sat patiently in my office while I conducted funerals, answering the telephone and helping my families where she could. There was always a beaming smile, much encouragement and a cup of tea made on my return.

For those who this news didn’t reach, there is still an option to donate in her memory.

The Lewes Bereavement Circle hold drop in sessions at Lewes House of Friendship 208 School Hill, on the 1st Wednesday of each month, starting at 1pm until 3pm.

It is a free of charge drop in group for the people of Lewes and surrounding villages.

Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits are offered.

HUGE THANK YOU to NORTH STREET GARAGE who came to our rescue today. We had managed to negotiate the traffic into Lewes, but with a puncture in our limousine tyre!!! North Street dropped everything and flew to the rescue. They swapped the wheel so we could continue our journey. Amazingly, despite the traffic (again) we arrived at Isfield Church on time!
