Imposter syndrome isn’t just self-doubt.

It’s often something much deeper - shaped by early experiences, pressure, and the need to prove yourself.

I joined Melie Williams on Diamonds in Dumpster Fires to talk about what’s really driving high-functioning anxiety, and why so many high-achieving women feel like they’re constantly holding it all together.

If this feels familiar, I gently invite you to listen.

How to Get Your Voice Heard and Your Boundaries Respected - Without the Bitterness, Backlash and Alienation You’re Used to...

😡Resentful for all the demands on her both at work and at home, my exasperated client wanted to feel confident to be assertive and enforce her boundaries without the bitterness, backlash and alienation.

She felt her efforts went unacknowledged and under-appreciated and she feared she was becoming less visible and taken less seriously. Professionally she would facilitate a lot of opportunity for others but felt frustrated that this was often at the expense of her own needs.

And then one day in an extended family disagreement, she was accused her of being the source of conflict - which was neither true nor fair.

This was the last straw and the catalyst for positive change.

She realised she needed to show strength to be clear on what she stood for, and what she was no longer willing to tolerate both at work and at home. She needed to learn how to communicate this in a respectful way in order to diffuse or avoid conflict.

Since working together, she no longer feels the need to explain or apologise for her existence, and she doesn’t take others’ anger on her shoulders anymore!

She describes herself as having become ‘a confident woman, sure of her purpose and committed to living authentically’ ✨️

How did she do this? Briefly, here's what made the difference:

1. She took time to reflect on how she felt around particular people or in particular environments. She allowed herself to start to make sense of how downtrodden, dismissed and disrespected she felt.

2. She was honest with how she saw herself and how her childhood experiences had a major influence on her ability to speak up and get her met today.

3. She got clear on what she wanted to say and learned how to frame the words without attack or argument. She began to expand her voice professionally and personally.

4. She realised she had the power to safeguard her own wellbeing and how choosing who to share feelings and energy with, is an act of self-love.

As she grew more confident to own her voice, she became more comfortable in the spotlight in her life and in her career.

What have you done to tighten up your boundaries and get the respect you deserve? I'd love to hear. Please comment below to encourage others to find their voice too x

and still feeling like it’s not enough.

I joined Martine Williams on Life Coaching For Mompreneurs to talk about the “juggle struggle” and the quiet guilt that can sit underneath it.

So often, the women who look like they “have it all together” are the ones carrying the heaviest internal load.

I joined Melissa Vogel on Bomb Life to talk about what’s really going on beneath high performance - why success can still feel anxious, and why so many high-achieving women are silently struggling.

If you’ve ever felt like that doesn’t quite match how life “should” feel… I invite you to watch or listen.

Emotional resilience isn’t about being calm all the time.

It’s about being able to feel what’s there… without being hijacked by it.

That’s something I spoke about on Midlife Strategies for Badass Women with especially for women who are used to holding it all together on the outside, while navigating so much internally.

If that resonates, this conversation is for you.

So many women I work with have spent years holding it all together…
only to reach a point where they quietly wonder, “Is this really it?”

I joined Kavita Ahuja on The Midlife Reinvention to talk about the emotional masks we wear - why they once protected us, and why they can begin to hold us back.

If you’ve been feeling that inner nudge for something more honest and aligned, I gently invite you to listen.

Anna’s story — How a senior executive smashed through the glass ceiling of Imposter Syndrome to find her confidence and voice at work

Anna’s career looked impressive. She was a respected 48-year-old leader in investment banking.

But behind the scenes, she was anxious, exhausted, and doubting herself every day. She feared her bosses would discover she wasn’t as capable as they thought. She over-analysed every conversation, struggled to sleep, and found it hard to switch off.

When anxiety took over before a major international conference, it became her wake-up call. With sleepless nights and constant worry, she knew something had to change.

She wanted her peace of mind back. She wanted to believe in herself again.
So she made a decision — to be brave and seek support.

Fast forward six months... Anna’s confidence is transformed.

She speaks with calm authority, makes decisions clearly, and feels proud of who she is. Her anxiety no longer controls her — she feels steady, capable, and self-assured. Her boss has noticed the difference — and she’s just been promoted to senior management. Her decision to be brave and reach out for professional support changed her life.

Do you know an Anna?
Or maybe you feel this way too?

You have the same choice — to stay stuck in self-doubt, quietly battling the fear of not being enough…
Or to choose courage, take that first step, and start believing in yourself again.

You deserve to feel calm.
You deserve to be heard.
You deserve to shine.

From my heart to yours — that first step is always the hardest, but it’s the one that changes everything.

Right now, I have one space available for private mentoring.

If Anna’s story speaks to you, send me a private message or simply DM me the word CONFIDENT and I’ll get right back to you with the details x

When horse-play leaves you fully seen...

My recent conversation with Sue Willoughby of Willoughby Coaching based in US Seatle, stayed with me so deeply.

In her podcast, Sue shares the powerful role horses play in her personal development coaching - how they help us strip back the layers, reconnect to truth, and rebuild trust in a way that feels both grounding and profound.

As I listened, I found myself smiling… because this wasn’t new to me.
It was a remembering.
