Residents enjoyed making nostalgic paper chains together — a lovely team effort that encouraged cooperation, conversation, and shared memories while preparing festive decorations for the home.
A simple activity with lots of Christmas cheer and togetherness. ❤️

Today’s fully inclusive, energetic wellbeing session had cricket at the heart of the fun — boosting movement, coordination, and confidence for all.

This morning we were delighted to welcome Tickled Pink Productions, who treated our residents to a wonderful Christmas Spectacular.

We were delighted to welcome back The Flamin’ Ukes, who treated us to much-loved Christmas classics enjoyed by everyone.

After all the fresh air earlier in the morning it took a moment to get going — but once the musical instruments were handed out, everyone quickly got on board and joined in with great enthusiasm! 🎄✨

🦙✨ A very special visit to Yarnley House today!
We welcomed some lovely alpacas, with our doors open and a safe pen set up so residents could get out, enjoy some fresh air, and visit comfortably. The alpacas then came into one of our communal areas, making the experience extra special.

Claire, who brought the alpacas along, was extremely knowledgeable and shared a fascinating talk, answering questions and helping residents learn more about these gentle animals. ❤️🦙

🎄✨ What a wonderful Christmas Fayre we had on Saturday! ✨🎄
Thanks to the incredible support of our residents, families, staff and community, we raised £323 for the Make-A-Wish charity — an amazing achievement.

The Tuesdays Singing Group were fantastic, with plenty of involvement and smiles all round, while Santa and Mrs Claus brought festive magic to everyone they met. 🎅🤶
And as a sure sign of a successful day… there was no mulled wine left at the end! 🍷😄

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. ❤️🎄
