What a wonderful day we’ve had at Yarnley House Care Home today especially with Linking Hearts therapy horses.

From refreshing walks in the park, where we enjoyed meeting local dog walkers in the fresh air and sunshine, then we joined in some armchair exercises, which keeps everyone moving and smiling, followed by relaxing manicures and pamper sessions.

After lunch, our residents felt so relaxed and special, they were ready to welcome the wonderful Mr Kellogs; whose visit brought so much joy, tenderness and connection to residents and staff alike.

Days like these are what make Yarnley House so special and such a warm and happy home for everyone... 🧡

Staff at Yarnley House Care Home celebrated International Nurses Day by treating our wonderful nurses and carers to a well-deserved pamper day.

From relaxing facials and hand massages, from one of our caring volunteers, to moments of laughter and appreciation from the Activities Team (who stepped in to facilitate - even though it was 1920s day today!), it was a chance to say thank you to a part of our incredible team who give so much care, compassion and kindness to our residents every single day.

Yarnley House is such a special place to live and work. We are so proud of every member of the team and grateful for everything they do 🧡

Fresh air, laughter and a little mischief at the park today… but the big question is… who’s the bad influence? 🤣🛝

Residents and staff at Yarnley House Care Home had such fun on the swings next door in the local park, with plenty of giggles, smiles and carefree moments shared together.

We’re not naming names… but some residents may have encouraged “just one more push!” 😂

Love, companionship and shared memories are such an important part of life at Yarnley House Care Home.

It was truly wonderful to celebrate one of our lovely couples reaching their 60th Wedding Anniversary together.

From peaceful walks in the park hand in hand, to a beautiful romantic supper shared together, it was a day filled with love, laughter and precious moments 💎

Seeing a lifetime of love still shining so brightly is something very special for residents, families and staff alike.
