My name is Lauri Wood, Owner and Aesthetics Practitioner at Enhance Aesthetics By Lauri. I have been practicing aesthetics for over 4 years and previous to this I have worked in dentistry for over 15 years. During lockdown in 2020 I built a clinic at my home address to enable my clients to have ultimate privacy during their treatments, after all who you tell about your treatment is your business.

There is parking available, so you can avoid searching for a space in a busy town centre and also reduce the amount of people you may bump into on leaving the clinic. I have been working in healthcare for over 15 years and therefore you can expect outstanding cleanliness and cross infection control procedures. I am on a medical register with the GDC and therefore I keep up to date with current guidance, training and regulations. All of your personal data is stored securely and client confidentiality will always be maintained. Photographs are compulsory before any cosmetic procedure for insurance purposes, these images will be kept for 7 years as per current regulations. No images will be uploaded to social media or online without your permission. I provide high quality aesthetic treatments specialising in natural looking aesthetics. I am passionate about skincare and treatments that can boost your own collagen and elastin promoting healthy skin. Consultations are free of charge and you are under no obligation to book in for treatment after your consultation should you not wish to proceed.

A story I hear so much in my clinic…

Last year had been heavy for her.
A tough year. A lot of stress. A lot of change.

She told me she’d started avoiding mirrors… because every time she looked, all she could see was how much she felt she’d aged. It wasn’t about vanity. It was about not recognising herself anymore. Her confidence had quietly slipped away.

She was never “into” treatments. In fact, she was against them. But she knew one thing for sure — she didn’t want to keep feeling the way she felt.

NAD+ / NMN - What’s the hype?

💉 Thinking About Injectable NAD+ or Mesotherapy Treatments?

The Evidence:
This is where things get murky:

• Clinics — especially in the beauty, wellness, and addiction treatment spaces — have begun offering intravenous or injectable NAD+ treatments and even mesotherapy protocols claiming anti-aging, detox, or cognitive benefits.

• However, regulators and scientists warn these claims are unproven. In the UK, some providers have been told to remove medical claims because no robust evidence supports NAD+ infusions as effective medical treatments, including for addiction or aging.

• NAD+ itself is a large, charged molecule that doesn’t easily enter cells from the bloodstream. Some experts say much of what’s infused may be broken down or excreted rather than taken up where it’s needed.

• There are no well-controlled clinical trials showing health benefits from NAD+ injections or mesotherapy in humans — only anecdote and marketing claims.

In other words: paying for expensive IV infusions or injectables with promises of reversing ageing, detoxing the body, or boosting metabolism isn’t backed by solid science. Most benefits are speculative, and the treatments haven’t been approved by regulators (e.g., in the U.S. or UK) for these uses.

You can rest assured that my treatments are backed by science with PROVEN RESULTS! No fads! If evidence does emerge I’ll be sure to let you know.

At Lauri Wood Aesthetics & Dentistry, we are committed to providing each patient with the highest standard of care. To protect appointment availability for all patients, we kindly ask that you review our cancellation policy below.

Appointment Changes & Cancellations
• We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a £40 cancellation fee.

No-Show Policy
• Patients who do not attend their appointment without prior notice will be charged a £40 no-show fee.
• Repeated no-shows may result in limited booking privileges or the requirement for prepayment for future appointments.

Late Arrivals
• If you arrive more than 10–15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your appointment.
• If the appointment cannot be completed due to late arrival, the £40 cancellation fee may apply.

I would like to thank the majority of my clients who turn up to their appointments on time. I understand that emergencies happen and plans change but please let me know as soon as you can.
