Please note we have also been affected by the mass mobile phone outage currently being experienced nationwide - we are not able to ring any mobile phones at the moment - please bear with us at this time

We kindly ask that our patients bear with us at this time as our appointment capacity has been reduced due to two clinical staff off on maternity leave as well as another two doctors off following family bereavement.

We are trying to maintain capacity through use of locums.

We are getting lots of queries regarding Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) for weight loss.

Although you may have heard that the drug is being made available from this week in primary care, the local model in Derbyshire will not be ready until around September.

In recent weeks, we have had a significant increase in the number of patients turning up at the front desk to book appointments. This is causing dangerous congestion and raising safety concerns for patients and staff.

Please note that attending at the front desk does not guarantee that an appointment will be obtained, as we also have other patients, either ringing in, or using our online service. All patients must be provided with the same opportunity to book an appointment.

All appointments are provided on the basis of clinical need and urgency and subject to capacity, which is not unlimited. Please check your options if we are full.
