A lot of hard work has been put in by my client through the last 10 weeks, and it’s only the start.

I had this lady for a few PT sessions and after having a chat about where she’d like to go, her goal was to feel better and confident within herself. She also wanted more of a routine.

From the get go she asked the right questions and went straight to work. Like with everyone it’s my job to make things as easy as possible but it’s them that have to do the work. And I couldn’t be prouder of the commitment she’s shown 🫡

We’ve had a few challenges that we’ve had to overcome along the way and work around but despite all of that in her words she is really enjoying her fitness journey, and she loves her new lifestyle 🤝

We’re increasing the calories back to maintenance for the time being before she goes away on holiday. And then we’ll ramp things back up 💪🏻

From never going to the gym, to completely changing her lifestyle and training 3x a week 😮‍💨 Sarah you are a boss 👊🏻

Sarah’s journey started back around March time, where she wanted to feel more confident within herself. We had a few PT sessions to get the ball rolling and she quickly found a passion for it and wanted to push herself more so we went online in April.

From day one Sarah was amazing and I couldn’t have asked more from her. She stuck to the plan, communicated everyday, asked questions and the hard work speaks for itself as she managed to lose 7.1kg in 12 weeks, and build more muscle in the process. We even had a few social occasions in between and had a maintenance week towards the end.

It just goes to show you can make a change if you commit yourself to a goal and you have the right support around you. I could not be prouder of Sarah for what she’s achieved in a short amount of time. She’s earned a break but I can’t wait to see what else she can achieve.

Wondering how we did it or need some guidance? Feel free to send me a message 🤝

Steady 8 week holiday tidy up for Laura 👏🏻

Now Laura has had a lot going on in the last year, becoming a mum and progressing in her career. She’s always been a very hard worker but life likes to make things challenging at times.

She felt out of sink and didn’t have an aim in regard to training since having her little boy. But since she was going on holiday she wanted to feel more confident and comfortable with what she was wearing.

We tailored the plan so she could be a little more lenient on the weekends as that’s when she spends time as a family. We made it work in her favour and in just under 8 weeks, she’s managed to drop 3.1kg revealing some good amounts of muscle and giving her frame much more shape 💪🏻 and this is with a couple of social occasions thrown in the middle of it.

I could not fault her efforts and I’m proud of the consistency she put in to this in a short amount of time. We’ll see where we go when she gets back.

Have a good time mate 🫡

I’ll do my best to keep this as short as possible, but this is a story that needs to be told as it’s more than just a transformation post.

As most will know I’ve been training Jane for a couple of years now and in that time she’s made a lot of progress becoming more confident making training a lifestyle and sustaining a routine. But 10 months ago she turned to me and said she wanted to focus on something more and she said to me she wanted to do a show.

Now Jane is a mum to 3 lovely children and works full time, but life still provides its challenges and her time to train is limited. She has had a lot of support and encouragement through her partner, but at the end of the day it was still her decision to get up and get the work she needed doing done, regardless of how she was feeling. It was easy to make excuses but she didn’t and she always found a way.

What makes this story even more impressive is that 10 years ago she was seriously overweight and she was in size 24 clothing. NOT only that, but 10 weeks before she was meant to step on stage she was in a horrific car accident that meant she couldn’t train properly for 8 weeks, and was told she is lucky to be alive. She fought her way through it and didn’t take no as an answer when she had every right to and wasn’t going to give up. So we did every exercise we could given the circumstances that didn’t cause pain to retain as much muscle as possible.

In those 10 months she’s had her highs and her lows. Her dedication and determination to see this through to the end is inspirational. Jane is the definition of if you really wanted to do it, you would find a way to get it done. Her mentality and drive is so inspiring and I feel incredibly honoured to be apart of her journey, to see her thrive in something she’s clearly a natural at.

I could not be prouder of you mate, in my eyes you are the definition of a legend. And it helps that you’re also a top person inside and out.

Bigger and better things are coming. Time to grow and bring a bigger package to the stage next year 🫡

A common question I get asked is what does myofascial cupping actually do?

The cups create a vacuum effect that lift up underlying muscles, blood and other fluid, close to the surface of the skin. Which when left on for short periods of time will reduce or eliminate those adhesions or trigger points.

Here are some of the benefits :

🏋️‍♂️ Increases circulation
💪🏻 Reduces muscle tension on the target tissues
🏋️‍♂️ Increases lymphatic drainage ( removes waste products)
💪🏻 Increases joint range of motion

BIG shoutout to who put on another great performance last Saturday night getting the decision against a tough opponent.

I’ve been seeing Hannah for a while now to sort any niggles or injuries so she’s in top condition come fight night. Top boxer and a top person 🫡

She’s got a lot of things planned this year and I can’t wait to be there every step of the way 🥊

If you want to maximise the amount of muscle you can build, then you need to to be implementing these 3 things in your training.

1. Training intensity. To build muscle you never had, you have to do something you’ve never done. You have to give your muscles a reason to grow. And if you are constantly working well within your boundaries of what your muscles are capable of, then there will be zero reason for your body to add more tissue to your frame.

2. Volume. You need to be doing an adequate amount of sets for each body part in a week. This will differ from person to person so start on the lower end of volume and build it up slowly. If your progress is quite slow and your recovering from your sessions quite quickly, then you can start to add more sets to each muscle until it’s taking you a few day to recover from the last session.

3. Technique. Throwing more weight around than you can currently handle will only limit the progress you make. Getting stronger and lifting more weight over time is a necessity but only when you’ve earned the right to. Slow your reps down and make the target muscle do the work.

If you want to know more about how to structure your training and how to train correctly, then give me a message and I’ll get you on the right track.

Now then! Marta has been on a long journey of bettering herself and I’m extremely proud of her efforts. Ever since we started working together her mindset has changed LOADS and she’s now a massive 15kg lighter between the photos!

From not doing any sort of resistance training to consistently doing 3 sessions on her own and 1 with myself every week and now she’s feeling the best she’s ever felt.

Ladies please don’t be afraid of picking up the weights, they will change your life for the better. Every single person that’s worked with me has had their mindset changed from doing endless amounts of cardio to lifting 3-4 times a week and they feel SO much better.

No stopping now though, she’s capable of so much more, and I can’t wait to see it. Give her some love people, she’s done amazing 🫡
