Learning Disability Week is a chance to celebrate people with a learning disability for who they are, not just for what they overcome.

It’s a week to shout loudly that every voice matters, every talent is valuable, and every person deserves to be SEEN, heard, included and respected.

It’s about:

• Pride in our identity and achievements

• Visibility in our communities and society

• Connection through shared stories, laughter, art, music and joy

• Challenging stigma, exclusion, and assumptions

Most of all, it’s about showing that people with a learning disability are not “less than”, they are equal, and they make our world richer, kinder and more creative.
