This month we have Bradley...
Bradley has worked at Maple Leaf House for 4 years and his current role is Care Assistant. (He as also worked in the kitchen and as a domestic)
What does Bradley enjoy about working for MHA?
He enjoys 1:1 time with the residents, hearing their life stories and being there when he is needed.
Bradley enjoys getting to know the resident's families and also, enjoys being part of the resident's 'Family' and giving them the best quality of life possible.
Bradley quotes-
Dementia can be hard, not only for the families but for the resident's , not knowing where they are or why they are here can become upsetting for them, and I take great pride in supporting them at their times of need.
I go home after every shift feeling a sense of achievement and I feel proud to be a care assistant.
