Hi all, my name is Esme I am the new well-being coordinator for Long Meadow Care Home.
I have a background with the care industry, I have been working at Long Meadow for just over a year but have been within the care industry for 5 years.
Here is a few of the activities we have got up to over the last couple of weeks since I have started my new role of a well-being coordinator.

Easter: during the run up to Easter we have been doing arts and crafts and different activities based around this holiday, such as bingo, word searches, decoration egg, memory games.

Lambs visited the home which the residents seems to love the interaction from the lambs and keepers that brought them in.

Also had a trip into the town center which they chose to go for some lunch in Wetherspoons, after the has lunch they had a walk to the obelisk where they sat chatting amongst each other, also had a chance to go onto the wheel which was in town.

Here a few pictures of activities that have happened over the last couple of weeks.

Don’t worry there are a lot more activities to come🫶🏼

A fun filled couple of days at long meadows . Pancake day with a very messy chocolate fountain and vodka berry pancakes and today a lunch out with a few of the residents to the cafe in the spa gardens . We even got to sit outside in the lovely sunshine ☀️
