HY STUDIO CLOSED
This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly and it’s one I’ve sat with for the past month, but still came to the same conclusion… life is too short, more time isn’t something money can buy and family & friends are everything!

I have absolutely loved the last few years and made so many lovely new friends. I have given it my all and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved… but being a mum, working full time and having your own business (that requires marketing, planning, accounting, teaching etc) is a lot. And right now I can’t commit to that. I need to give myself the space to grieve the loss of my amazing dad and the time I need with my family.

You’ll likely see me pop up again teaching a one off workshop or organising a retreat and knows what the future will hold…?

And I’ll still here, online, posting mainly videos that were funny on tik tok three weeks ago but only just found their way to me on Insta.

Thank you for the best few years x

How it should have been…
Annie and I should be touching down in Murcia about now for a few days away at my parents house in Spain. We would be greeted at the airport by my Dad, excitedly showing off his Spanish language skills before we were whisked to their apartment where my mum would have tapas ready for us. Bliss.

How it is…
Instead, tonight I am writing the eulogy for my Dads funeral.

Life is short and delicate and often cruel. Your whole world can change in such a short space of time. He was 62. He had everything to live for. He was healthy and happy and loved. And now he is gone… but he will never be forgotten!

This isn’t a post seeking sympathy, but rather a reminder that this isn’t a dress rehearsal, don’t wait to do something because you may never get there. Take risks, laugh hard, live life to the fullest as you never know when it’s your last.

My dad died in the early hours of this morning. Suddenly, unexpectedly, aged 62. My heart is broken. I’ll be back when I’ve had to time to grieve with my family. X
