New Digital Weight Management Service "Gro Health" Launched for Gwent Residents.
Tracy Daszkiewicz, Director of Public Health for Gwent said,β It is fantastic to add the digital weight management service for health improvement. Achieving and maintaining a healthy weight is complex and challenging, so it is important that information and support is available in a number of ways. We know that many factors affect our weight; our diet, the food we have available to us, safe spaces to take physical activity, our age, genetics, trauma, existing illnesses, our environment to name a few. Ensuring people have the tools to stay healthy helps avoid associated preventable illness such as heart attacks, stroke and high blood pressure. We hope this new digital service will provide another way for people to access information to support their approaches to good health and wellbeingβ.
