On Saturday, I had the honor of presenting , a truly exceptional event led by the brilliant . I shared insights on two important topics: the critical role of saying no to patients to uphold safety and ethics, and a lively debate on whether aesthetics can be a side hustle.

I also had the pleasure of joining my dear friend and colleague, Dr. Raquel Amado, during her live polynucleotide injection session.

What made this event even more special was having my daughter attend with me for the first time—now a first-year medical student. Sharing this milestone with her was a moment I’ll always treasure.

The day brought together a remarkable caliber of speakers—international experts from across the fields of medicine, dentistry, nursing, and surgery. Being part of such a diverse and talented team was an absolute privilege.

A heartfelt thank you to the team behind Face Expo for creating an event that continues to elevate our industry.

A busy couple of days at to round off this week!

Please note that my talk on imposter syndrome has been moved slightly early to 12 noon. I’ll be talking at the In Practice Theatre about how to unlock your self-confidence and realise your full potential as an aesthetics practitioner.

Later today I will be over at to reprise my talk on polynucleotides and scarring.

Finally, tomorrow is a new event I’m very excited to be a part of - meet the mentor speed dating! This will run from 3-4pm and I’m looking forward to meeting everyone.

Hello everyone, my name is Lauren and I’m delighted to be back at Facial Aesthetics. If you have been visiting the clinic for a while then you may remember me from summer 2021. I have since graduated from Durham University with a degree in English Literature, which included studying the theory of aesthetics and the body. I am so excited to bring everything that experience has given me to my new role as the Clinic and Marketing Coordinator for Facial Aesthetics as it continues to grow both in the clinics and behind the scenes!

🌟 Farewell and New Beginnings for Lucie!🌟

I wanted to share with you all that our wonderful clinic coordinator Lucie, will be leaving our clinic after over a year of dedication and care. Lucie’s warm smile and commitment have made a lasting impact on our patients and team.

While we’ll miss her dearly, we’re excited to see her pursue her true passion in the wine industry, where she already excels. Change can be challenging, but it also brings exciting new opportunities.
