Hello π how are you?
It's been an interesting week. Lots of mums to support and lots of knowledge passed on.
How has your week been? Happy? Full of questions? Concerned about something? Feeling overwhelmed or just ticking along nicely?
Very often when we support people with feeding we hear
"it was painful but I carried on as my baby was at least latched on and getting some milk!"
Or
"Everyone says the start of a feed is always painful so I just carried on"
Or
"My mum found it painful feeding me, stuck at it for a couple of weeks and then struggled to keep going"
If any of these resonate with you, please know, the reality is it doesn't have to be this way! We can help! There will be a reason why it's painful.
The great thing is, once you are able to latch your baby pain free you will see the milk flows more easily, your baby gets more milk and your supply is maintained. A happy mum and a happy baby!
So if you have been thinking I can't do this, no more, I can't take the pain, it doesn't have to be that way! You can do this another way. Seek support from those whose bread and butter is breastfeeding support!
Yes all the information is accessible online, but the difference with coming to Moat Breastfeeding, is the trained eye that analyses you and your baby's anatomy, your body language and the listening ear and provides that tailored support to achieve the best for you and your baby, centred around what you want to achieve.
