That's the point at which you need specialist help from a place that's dedicated to you and your little ones breastfeeding journey. We can be that place, let us hold your hand through the early days and as you gain more confidence. We are here for you every step of the way:-

It's the season of coughs and colds, regardless of whether you exclusively feed or combi feed, giving breastmilk can really help. Within 20 mins of being exposed to an infection, your body has made antibodies which are present in your breastmilk. How incredible is that....milk is medicine!

To find out more and ask any burning questions you may have about feeding, expressing, using ni**le shields or if you're facing challenges in general with feeding, do come along on Wednesdays. You'll receive a warm welcome, support and if we can't help you, we will point you in the direction of someone who can. 👌

Hey,

How are you? How is your week panning out? Feeling in control and calm or a bit panicked?!

We are here for you, whichever side of the fence you're sat on! Be that, pre 🤰 or post birth 👶 ! We can help by providing you with a safe supportive environment with evidence informed support.

If you're thinking of coming this Wednesday, feel free to message us in advance or just rock up.

We can provide guidance on how to get the best latch, what to expect (eg is my baby feeding too much/not enough), expectations of how things change over time, ni**le shields, pain free feeding and what to do when things change for example if you have to go back to work. We have your back, 100% of the way!

We provide an IBCLC lactation consultant and highly experienced peer support at each session as well as a very welcoming environment.

So the key details are as follows:

🕰️ 10.30-12pm - come when you can
🚗 parking 2 mins away on Georg Hill
🚂 5-10 mins walk (depends on how much sleep your little one has allowed you!)
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 lovely mums to socialise with

☀️ no money required, our service is completely free due to very generous donations from local businesses and organisations 🥳

Do you have breast milk which is surplus to your baby's needs? It could be donated to help premature babies in hospital neonatal intensive care and can help save lives.❤️ Becoming a milk donor is a simple process which our team can talk you through. It involves a blood test and questionnaire, and you will need to be:

⭐️A non-smoker / non-vaper

⭐️Able to express at least 2 litres of milk within a 10 week period, or have a freezer stash of surplus milk which was expressed in the last 10 weeks and frozen within 24 hours of being expressed.

⭐️Based in Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Kent, North London, Sussex, Bedfordshire or South Wales

⭐️If you are taking certain medications this may not be compatible with donating milk. Please contact our team for more information.

Taking the time to become a milk donor is an amazing step. You could be changing the lives of a tiny baby and their family forever.

Did you know breast milk isn’t just food — it’s also a prebiotic powerhouse? 💫
Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs) are special sugars found only in breast milk. Babies can’t digest them — and that’s exactly the point!

HMOs feed the good bacteria in your baby’s gut, helping to:
🦠 Build a healthy microbiome
🛡️ Strengthen the immune system
🧠 Support brain development
❤️ Protect against infections

Even just a small amount of breastmilk can make a real difference. The highest concentration of HMO's is in the first milk produced i.e. colostrum. 🌸

So in short, give your self a pat on the back, for however much you've managed to feed your baby so far, you've made a positive difference already! 👏

If you'd like support with feeding, we will be at Robertsbridge Youth Centre this Wednesday and almost every Wednesday!
