We have clinics in Preston, Rochdale, Glasgow, Enfield, Sheffield and York. Welcome to Panthera Clinical Research. Our aim is to provide access to medical research for volunteers like you, to participate in clinical trials investigating potential new medicines in a range of medical conditions, within community settings. We have a number of dedicated Panthera Clinics across the UK, located either within a GP building or purpose built facilities within a local community, with more planned in the future. Each has a team of highly trained, experienced doctors, nurses and clinical staff who provide specialist care and treatment to our volunteers, ensuring every participant’s needs are met throughout a Panthera clinical trial. We’re Hiring: Senior Research Physician | Enfield

At Panthera Biopartners, we’re reimagining how clinical trials are delivered — putting patients at the heart of every decision.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Research Physician to join our Enfield site and play a key role in advancing clinical breakthroughs for our patients, customers, and future generations.

As a Principal Investigator, you’ll provide clinical oversight and leadership across trials, ensuring studies meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and patient care. You’ll also collaborate closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to excellence and innovation in research.

What we’re looking for:
- GMC-registered physician with licence to practise in the UK
- MRCP(UK) and at least 5 years’ clinical experience (2+ in the NHS)
- Strong communicator and proactive leader with a passion for advancing medicine
- GCP-trained and experienced in clinical research (PI/Sub-I experience desirable)

Connecting with the Community at Cheadle Masjid

On Friday, the 27th June, the Panthera team had the pleasure of visiting the community at Cheadle Masjid.

We were grateful for the opportunity to speak with so many members of our local community, many from groups historically underrepresented in clinical research. The level of interest, curiosity, and engagement around what we do highlights the importance of getting out amongst the public to discuss the importance of clinical research.

Making clinical research more accessible, inclusive, and reflective of the real world is a paramount driver at Panthera. Social events like this are an important part of engaging the community and creating better opportunities for public health.

Thank you to Cheadle Masjid for the warm welcome. We look forward to continuing the conversation and hopefully welcoming some of you onto a future trial.

Panthera Celebrates 5 Years in Rochdale!

On Thursday, June 26th, we hosted a memorable evening in Rochdale to mark the 5th anniversary of Panthera’s presence in the region. It was an incredible event attended by The Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Janet Emsley, as well as our valued local partners, practices, and community members.

We were especially honoured to hear from two of our Panthera Patient Volunteers, who shared their personal experiences of participating in recent clinical trials and the positive impact it has had on their lives. Their stories highlighted the value and importance of clinical trial participation, and how our Rochdale team has been integral to their journey.

£1,235 raised for the Alzheimer's Society.

This weekend, three of our Panthera leaders braved the foggy, drizzly wilds of the Lake District to complete a 13-mile trek, all in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Despite the weather doing its very best to test morale (and waterproofs), they pushed through with determination and a lot of soggy snacks.

With your support, the team raised £1,235 to support those living with dementia and to fund critical research. A huge thank you to everyone who donated!

13 miles. 3 leaders. 1 incredible cause.

On Saturday, 31st May, three of our Panthera Biopartners leadership team are heading into the hills to take on a 13-mile trek through the Lake District, all to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Cancer Research UK, Race for Life - Sunday, May 11th 2025

Heaton Park. Glorious sunshine. A sea of pink. And one amazing Panthera team.

Yesterday, colleagues from Preston, Rochdale, Sheffield and Glasgow came together for Cancer Research UK Race for Life—and what a day it was!

In stark contrast to last year’s sideways rain, we were treated to blue skies, warm temps and huge smiles as the team walked, jogged and sprinted their way to the finish line (and yes, the ice cream van made an appearance).

Across our two Panthera running teams, we’ve raised an incredible £3,150 in donations, plus £647.50 in gift aid—bringing us to £3,797.50 and counting!
