We’re excited to share that our team will be participating in Race for Life on Saturday 6th June 2026 in support of Cancer Research UK.

This event is a great opportunity to come together, support an important cause, and promote both physical and mental wellbeing across our team.

We’re currently raising funds to contribute to vital cancer research, and any support would be greatly appreciated. Donations of any size can make a meaningful impact.

An incredible day at the 25th Health Mela (Silver Jubilee!) 🎉

Hosted by the National Forum for Health & Wellbeing at the University of Central Lancashire, the event was officially opened by the Mayor of Preston, Councillor Sue Whittam — a fantastic moment to be part of.

It was a really busy event, with lots of interest from the public keen to learn more about what we do and why it’s so important for future generations.

Great to connect with GPs, consultants, and other health providers from across the North West — all working towards improving community health.

Thanks to everyone who came over to speak with the Panthera team 👋

C. difficile: When a “stomach bug” becomes something far more serious.

At Panthera, we see first-hand how often C-Diff is overlooked or mistaken for a vomiting bug or routine upset stomach. But for many, especially older adults or those recently on antibiotics, it can quickly escalate into a serious infection.

Penned by two of our medical professionals, our latest article breaks down:
- What C-Diff actually is
- Why certain people are at higher risk
- And why research into better treatments has never been more important

It’s an important read for patients, carers, and anyone working in healthcare.

Every medical breakthrough starts with someone like you.

We often hear about new medicines and life-changing treatments, but did you know how much volunteers play a huge role in making them possible?

By taking part in clinical research, you’re helping shape the future of healthcare. And it’s not just about tomorrow, many volunteers also enjoy benefits today, like:

- Health checks and close medical monitoring
- Early insight into potential health concerns
- Knowing you're helping others and advancing science

At Panthera, your safety and comfort always come first. You can ask questions, take your time, and stop at any point, you’re always in control.

“Every breakthrough begins with a volunteer.” And your choice truly counts.

Curious to learn more about why people join research and how you could get involved too?
