Measles cases are rising in England.

It spreads easily and can cause serious illness, especially in babies, pregnant women and those with weak immune systems.

MMR vaccination is safe and offers lifelong protection.

There is a yellow thunderstorm warning across much of England for the next 24 hours or so - and an amber warning for London and the South East until 11:00am tomorrow.

Hot weather and thunderstorms can trigger symptoms in those who suffer with lung conditions such as asthma.

If you notice the weather makes your symptoms worse and you are needing to use your inhaler more frequently, please talk to your pharmacist, contact your GP or NHS 111.

Our walking group would love to have some new faces. We walk for 3 miles, approximately 1.5 hours and make time for a drink break in the middle or end of a walk.
Allow 2 hours in total. We meet for 09:45 for a 10:00 start.

🎀💕WE DID IT!!

On Saturday 21st June a group of us from the practice completed The Pink Ribbon Walk raising money for Breast Cancer Now. Not only was the walk itself a challenge but the heat was heating 🥵 ☀️

We would like to thank everyone for the support and any donations already sent!We would love one final push to try hit the £1000 mark if you are able - any donation big or small is hugely appreciated.

If you take anything away from this post, it’s to PLEASE attend your routine cancer screening appointments. Our Business Support Manager Tracey, was truly saved by attending for her routine mammogram. She was completely asymptomatic and we have no idea what things would like today had she brushed that one appointment off. We are so lucky to have access to these tests. If you have any apprehensions about any of the screenings, please reach out to us (men or women). Any of our clinicians would be happy to talk through them and offer any reassurance you may need.

Thank you once again for all your support; it means a great deal to us, Breast Cancer Now and all the people impacted by breast cancer, be that the patient themselves or their support network 🩷
