Our Graham brought his pool cue to comfort days today to test out our table, and Mike was quick to accept the challenge of a game 🎱

Both gents had a lovely afternoon relaxing and chatting, with both of them being pool players previously it was the perfect way to unwind 🥰

Today some of our comfort day service users went on a tour of the recently renovated Rochdale Town Hall 🏰

We had a wonderful time exploring the history of our hometown, admiring the beautiful building, and even got a tour of the courts 🥰

We cant wait to take more of our wonderful service users to explore the town hall in the future 🙌🏼

Who doesn’t love baking?? 😋

Our residential gang got together and teamed up to make a delicious lemon drizzle cake, and the end result was delicious - perfect with a cup of tea 🫖 🍰

Our Ivy and Barbara loved getting out to see the horses on Saturday, of course accompanied by Andre Rieu the bear 🐻

We’re very lucky to have these beautiful horses in the field next door to our hub 🐴

Today some of our comfort day service users went on a trip out to TenPin bowling 🎳

We had a fab time at their accessible session, lots of fun at bowling and free tea and coffee - whats not to love 🥰

We will definitely be back soon 😊

Our Barbara loves reading, so this afternoon her and Jade went for a walk to Springhill Hospice charity shop so she could treat herself to some new books 📚

Barbara loved getting out and about and now has lots of bedtime reading to be getting on with 🥰

Our Ivy’s been out on the trishaw around Hollingworth Lake today, accompanied by Jade. Shes had an amazing time in the sun feeling the wind in her hair and spotting the animals, followed by a cup of tea in The Woodlands Cafe 🫖

Today our residents got the musical instruments out for some sing along fun 🎶

Music is so important for people living with dementia, reducing anxiety, enhancing social interaction, and potentially triggering long-forgotten memories memories - plus its lots of fun too!! 🥰
