Our Three Reservoir Ramble is a fantastic day out for the whole family! 💚

The post-walk celebrations at The Oxford are the cherry on top of an excellent day.

With live music, a range of delicious food and a chance to celebrate with your fellow ramblers, it's a day you'll remember for a long time.

Our Wellbeing and Supportive Care Team's sessions in collaboration with Get Up and Grow are going great! 💚

They recently created these fantastic clay frogs and flower imprints (how great are they!?!)

They have had a few sessions here at Springhill Hospice so far, and they are proving to be a success!

There is a maximum of 8 people per session, and they are bookable for all Hospice patients using any service.

Every week, we share fundraising ideas for you to join in and support Springhill Hospice.

Because it feels like Autumn, this week's fundraising idea is ... make and sell autumn wreaths!

For this fundraiser, you will need to:

• Decide format: selling ready-made wreaths or hosting a workshop

• Gather supplies (wreath bases, foliage, autumn leaves, ribbons, glue, scissors)

• Set price per wreath or workshop ticket

• promote the fundraiser (posters, social media, word of mouth)

• Thank supporters and share the fundraising total

Our recent Dementia Wellbeing and Carer Support Programme session was a success, with patients even enjoying a game of bowling! 💚

This is an 8-week Dementia Wellbeing Programme based at Springhill Hospice. Sessions run 9:30am – 12:30pm on Tuesdays.

The aim of the sessions is to provide a safe space for patients and carers to share experiences, ask questions and enjoy Wellbeing activities together.

We provide a programme to support both the person with dementia and their carers/loved ones. To get the most from these sessions, we kindly ask that you both attend.

Every week, we highlight some of the fantastic community fundraisers who help raise money for Springhill Hospice.

This week, we're highlighting Dave Prentice, who in 2017 raised £1,957 and then in 2024 raised £2,025 by hosting a 'meet the Bradshaw's comedy night'.

Making a Will is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your loved ones and ensure your wishes are followed.

For a minimum donation of £100 for a single Will, Molesworths will help you write or update your Will - and every penny supports the care we provide at Springhill Hospice. 💚

Some people also choose to leave a small gift in their Will to Springhill, a lasting way to support future care.
