Springhill Hospice is here to support those who need us.

To adults who are experiencing psychological and emotional distress in their lives as a result of their own life-limiting illness or the illness of someone significant to them, we offer a range of Counselling Services free of charge.

We also offer our Bereavement Service to people over the age of 18, who are experiencing difficulty in their grieving process after the death of a loved one with a life-limiting illness.

We invite you to remember and celebrate the special women in your life on 15th March 2026, 2 - 4pm.

There will be a selection of crafts, mindfulness activities and candles to light.💚

Whether your special person was cared for by Springhill Hospice or not, everyone is welcome to join us for refreshments with your loved ones in a peaceful, safe space.

A massive thank you to Matty Lees, Professional Rugby League Player, Captain at St Helens Rugby Cub, and England international.

Matty recently had his Testimonial Match at St Helens after spending 10 years at the club and has generously donated £1,000 to Alex and James’ Project 240 challenge!

Springhill Hospice looked after Matty’s grandma during her final days.

We are honoured and thankful that Matty continues to support Springhill Hospice to provide vital care across the community.

On Tuesday 21st April Alex and James embark on their Project 240 challenge - the pair will run 214 miles over five days, arriving in London on Saturday, before lining up for the Marathon the following day. In total, they will cover an astonishing 240 miles in six days.

James talks us through what a usual Saturday looks like as they train for this incredible challenge.

We’ve done the maths, and we can announce that the jackpot total for Play Your Cards Right at the upcoming Springhill Hospice Fundraising Quiz is a lovely £600! 🤑

A reminder that it’s this coming Monday (March 16th) starting at 8pm. Entry per-person is £1, and all entry fees will go direct to Springhill Hospice (and Eden and Siân will also match it), and there will be a pot for donations going around the pub as well. And we’ll make sure you get some grub! 🥪

Looking for a Mother's Day present?

A cake box from our Carnival of Cake is the perfect gift!

All you need to do is:

*Book your cake box for £20
*Boxes can be shared (unless you love cake and don’t want to share!)
*£20 buys you an empty box which you can then fill with as much cake as you can
*Enjoy the contents of your box with unlimited tea and coffee

There will be hundreds of cake slices to choose from, many of which will be homemade by our brilliant volunteers.

If you're a baker and you want to bring a cake on the day for us to add to the selection, you will qualify for a reduced rate box at £15!

We are asking cakes are dropped off ideally on Friday 20th March.

This event is kindly sponsored by The Fudge Factory who will also have a stall on the day along with a super sweet raffle and some gorgeous Springhill goodies.
