We are now preparing for our National Garden Scheme open garden on Sunday, with us at the project for the rest of the week to ensure everything is perfect for our visitors. So please do come; you will have a lovely time with guided walks, homemade teas, home-grown fruit and vegetables for sale, plus new this year: some indoor plants and macrame hangers handmade by Tress.

Judging day is here for Britain in Bloom, and the Rochdale exhibit, where we are both part of the route the judges take, and an entry in our own right. Firstly, we want to say a big thank you to all our volunteers, especially those who came in today to prepare for the judges. We think it went well; the judges took the time to talk to the volunteers, which was really lovely, as they wanted to know what everyone had done on the project. The weather was good so a good day was had by all.

One week to go to the Open Day and Judging on Tuesday, and we have finished barking all the paths in the secret garden. This is still lots to do so back again all day Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to make sure we are perfect for Sunday.

Just over a week to go before Rochdale in Bloom, and then on the 27th of July is our Gardens Open for Charity under the National Garden Scheme, and the Project is looking wonderful.

26 days to our opening on the 27th of July, so put it in your diary, plus we are being judged for the RHS North West in Bloom on the 22nd! In the meantime, everything is coming together with our wonderful new sign and lots and lots of planting and weeding

Hi all, we have finished planting all the veg now, so we will now be beautifying the site.
