As part of the flood resilience scheme, we have new fences and gates, which means we can take down all the rotten wooden ones. So very happy.

Lots are happening at the moment; we're working with RMBC on flood resilience, and part of that means that this year we have to move the wildflower meadow to an unused, weed-infested, bramble forest. We also have to relinquish the enchanted woodland garden so.... We have cleared all the brambles from the new area and cleared brambles and weeds, so we can move fences from the wildflower meadow to keep the site secure in its new position, and we have started clearing wooden raised beds so we can build new breeze-block ones as part of the site's flood resilience. The upshot is that this year, we will not be opening under the NGS, as it will mainly be building and clearing. This will also give us the opportunity to update many of our existing structures, remove the rotten and decaying, so for next year hopefully the site will be renewed.
