How are you feeling today?

Today is World Mental Health Day. The World Health Organisation suggests that 1 in 3 of us can experience difficulties in our lives, whether we are a child, a teenager, an adult, an older adult, it can affect any of us at anytime. Take a look around you now, at your family, friends, work colleagues and recognise that 1 in 3 could include anyone of those people, or even yourself. Things can and will get better when we ask for help ❤️

For those who leave never to return, for those who return but are never the same, we will remember them ❤️
And for those who find each day a struggle, please remember support is available for veterans and family members

It’s taken almost two years to train as a Mindfulness Teacher 😅 but now I can teach Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) for depression groups and interweave this with CBT & EMDR 😊

This week it’s mental health awareness week.

The World Health Organisation suggests that 1 in 3 of us can experience difficulties in our lives, whether we are a child, a teenager, an adult, an older adult, it can affect any of us at anytime.

The theme for this year is Loneliness .

Millions of us experience loneliness from time to time and the longer we feel lonely the more susceptible we are to mental health concerns, such as low mood. This week if possible reach out to someone and let them know you are thinking of them 🖤

And if you are particularly struggling, support is out there 🖤

This week it’s mental health awareness week.

The World Health Organisation suggests that 1 in 3 of us can experience difficulties in our lives, whether we are a child, a teenager, an adult, an older adult, it can affect any of us at anytime.

The theme for this year is nature.

Being out in nature is beneficial for our wellbeing, and is one of the ways people have supported their own wellbeing during lockdown and restrictions. Why not try reconnecting with nature over the coming days, or maybe talk to someone you trust, whether that be a friend or a therapist, if your particularly struggling at the moment 🖤

Most of us might find ourselves struggling at the moment, particularly with the pandemic & the impact this has had on areas of our lives such as work, routines, friendships, family & relationships. You can and will get through this, even if at times it feels like we cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel, eventually we will 🖤

Talk to a friend, a family member, your GP or a therapist, support is out there 🖤
