GP Care Services Ltd We are a local provider of GP management and community healthcare services.

We work with local people, GPs and Health Care Professionals to raise the standards of community care, and deliver greater value across all local health systems. Focussing on the move away from referring patients into the hospital setting, GPCARE continued to see that there were many opportunities to deliver cost effective, efficient services, reducing waiting times for patients’ treatment and therefore enhancing the patient experience. Dr Majumdar started to work up a locally enhanced Minor Surgery Service and following a closely, clinically monitored 12 month pilot scheme, the service was fully commissioned by NHS HMR PCT in 2009. The next major project for the company was to tender for a new APMS Practice which was to be built adjacent to a local Morrison's Supermarket. GPCARE were successful in their bid and opened the doors of the Kingsway Practice in 2009. Other services which have proved highly successful are Domiciliary and Paediatric Phlebotomy and our Apprentice Training School. With the expansion of the Company to Borough wide Provider status in 2013, other colleagues have joined the Board of Directors. Now well established and a provider of health services, with a reputation for excellence, supported by CQC registration, GPCARE continue to work closely with NHS Commissioners, GPs and healthcare professionals to develop further services which will enhance the patient experience.

What an amazing achievement for our The Willows Dementia Hub team, we wish them the best of luck at the awards ceremony in July🏆🎉

We are beyond proud to announce that The Willows Dementia Hub has been shortlisted for a Greater Manchester Health and Care Champion award 🏆

With over 700 nominations submitted, to even be shortlisted is a fantastic achievement.

We don’t do what we do for recognition, but to know that someone has taken time out of their day to thank us in this way feels amazing - so a massive thank you, whoever you are.

The next step is to attend the awards ceremony in July where the winner will be announced - wish us luck!!! 🤞🏼

Our community Gynaecology team had the pleasure of supporting a pre–Ramadhan Health Fair held at Wardleworth Community Centre Rochdale on 12 February to offer health and wellbeing advice and support to the community, in order to reduce health inequalities.

The event brought together a number of teams from the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) including specialist urology and gynaecology Macmillan cancer nurses, RNIB community liaison, bowel cancer screening, infection prevention control and a diabetes nurse specialist.

Dr Marthi delivered an informative and impactful presentation to the centre’s women’s group in collaboration with Amanda Storey and the Macmillan gynaecology nurses from the Northern Care Alliance.
