🎁 Wrapping Presents: A Festive Sport No One Trains For 🎁

Why do we still wrap presents sitting on the floor like it’s a Christmas tradition from 1842? 😅

If you’ve got young kids, chances are you’ve been found hiding in the bedroom, crouched on the floor, whisper-swearing at sellotape while trying not to crinkle paper too loudly.

But here’s the plot twist:
That festive floor position = hips, knees and lower back doing overtime 🫠
Leaning forward, legs folded, “just one more present”… and boom — you don’t feel it then, you feel it when you stand up and suddenly walk like you’re 90 🎄

We see it every year:
🎁 Wrapping on the floor
🎁 Standing up
🎁 “Why does my back hurt??”

Physio festive advice:
🚨 Send the kids out to play
🚨 Use the kitchen table
🚨 Wrap like the ergonomic legend you are

This week marks our final Pilates classes of the year before we take a well-earned two-week break over Christmas.

We currently run 14 Pilates classes each week here at The Physiotherapy Clinic — that’s an incredible 728 classes in 2025!
Thank you for being part of our Pilates community this year. We hope you’ve loved your Pilates journey in 2025 and are feeling ready for a strong comeback in 2026.

I don’t even know where to begin… A massive, heartfelt thank you to every single one of you who donated to our Children’s Toy Appeal for Home-Start ❤️

When we saw the mountain of toys growing higher and higher, it honestly took our breath away. It was the biggest collection we’ve ever had — a reminder of just how much love and kindness exists in this community.

Home-Start collected the donations this morning and were absolutely delighted with the incredible amount given. Because of you, there will be children waking up on Christmas morning feeling seen, loved, and wrapped in the magic they truly deserve. You’ve given families hope. You’ve given little ones moments they’ll remember forever.

I’m genuinely overwhelmed. You are all extraordinary. What a community we have… I’m so grateful.
