We are so pleased to announce the fourth of our Family & Carers Events, and after requests from families, we are trialling an afternoon session 😊

After the success of our previous events, we realised the need for these vital sessions in our local community.

Do you have a family member with a recent diagnosis of dementia and not sure where to turn?

Are you caring for or supporting a loved one with dementia and not sure how to handle certain situations?

Do you feel like you need more knowledge and understanding of dementia?

Whatever your concern, we’re here to help - come along to our informal session where we provide tips and knowledge on supporting someone with dementia, as well as supporting yourself.

Together we can change the taboo around dementia and make the world a more understanding place.

🧠 Dementia Information Evening – Book Your Place!
Following the last two sessions, we’ve had some amazing feedback about how useful and practical the communication tips and real-life scenarios were. Several attendees shared how they were able to use what they learned straight away to support loved ones — which is exactly why we run these sessions. 💜

Our Christmas fair us just a few weeks away, and we cant wait to welcome you all 😊

Time: 11am-4pm
Location: The Willows Dementia Hub, Broad Lane, Rochdale, OL16 4PP

We’ve got lots planned for you all, with delicious Christmas food and drinks, a licensed bar, and lots of craft stalls to buy all your unique Christmas gifts, there’s something for everyone 🎁

And best of all, every penny raised goes directly back into our hub, supporting our residents and service users with dementia 🥰
