Hello everyone

Lots of my appointments at this time of year are booked by people who are about to go away on their holidays and they need their ears clearing to prevent issues with blocked canals or infection.

But …….I’m going away on holiday myself soon and it a long one (I’m going to visit my brother in Australia) 🦘🐨🇦🇺

This means clinic will be closed from 28/07/25 until 18/08/25

There are appointments available over the next three weeks; basically the rest of July.
If you keep meaning to book in please don’t leave it too long because after that I’ll be half a world away ✈️

So if you are experiencing issues with your ears such as

- Reduced hearing
- Blocked ears
- Hearing aids whistling

All these symptoms can indicate problematic ear wax that can be removed under microsuction

I’m an NMC Registered Nurse with many years experience as a Specialist ENT Nurse within the NHS.

I’m fully insured and Registered with the CQC which is a legal requirement and ensures that healthcare providers adhere to high quality standards and practice in a safe manner .

Summer is always a busy time at clinic with people due to travel or returning from their holidays .

Blocked ears can spoil a trip away so if you are thinking about having your ears cleared or are struggling with blocked ears do your research and make sure you book with a competent and experienced provider

Hi everyone

I’m back from my quick break so if you are struggling with problematic ear wax have a look at my fb page and website.

I’m an NMC Registered Nurse,fully insured and (importantly) CQC Registered.

A critical factor when choosing a treatment provider is to check their qualifications and experience

I spent over 15 years as a Specialist ENT Nurse running microsuction clinics at a local NHS hospital and treating patients with complex ear issues.Prior to that I was both Staff Nurse and Sister on a busy ENT ward.

The experience I have means that I am confident and competent when carrying out treatment.

I do see patients who have been to other providers where the treatment has been provided by a person who may only have completed a quick online course or one day study course

These patients are often anxious as they have had a bad experience where microsuction was painful (it shouldn’t be) or caused trauma /infection.

So practice due diligence and check out your provider’s credentials .Your ears and your hearing are precious!

I’m based in Heywood in a ground floor treatment room in a clean,bright and professional clinic .
Free parking is available.

Hi Everyone

If you are planning to go away on holiday and require ear wax removal before you travel please book in sooner rather than later 🙏

Clinic will be closed for a fortnight from Mon July 29th when I’m on holiday myself.
