We are currently experiencing major IT issues affecting GP practices across Kent and Medway.

This means it may take us longer than usual to answer telephone calls, and we do not currently have full access to our computer systems. As a result, some services may be slower than normal.

💉 We will soon be offering COVID-19 booster vaccinations to eligible patients.

Over the next week, if you are eligible, you will receive a text message from us with a self-booking link to arrange your appointment at our vaccination clinic.

⚠️ Please note: we can only vaccinate patients who are eligible for the Spring booster campaign.

We are currently experiencing a nationwide clinical system outage, which means we are unable to access patient records, book appointments, or carry out many of our usual services at this time.

This is a national issue affecting GP practices across the country and is being investigated.

📢Additional meningitis antibiotic clinic opening in Ashford.
An extra clinic will be open from tomorrow (Wednesday, 18 March) at the Vicarage Lane Clinic, Ashford, to provide free emergency antibiotic tablets to eligible people who do not have symptoms, as a precautionary measure.

Precautionary antibiotics – who is eligible?
- Students and staff living on campus at the University of Kent, Canterbury
- Close household contacts identified by UKHSA, or those who believe they have had contact with a confirmed case
- Club Chemistry staff
- Anyone who visited Club Chemistry on 5, 6 or 7 March

Location details:
📍Vicarage Lane Clinic, Ashford, TN23 1NJ
Open: Wednesday, 18 March, 9am to 4pm and Thursday, 19 March, 8.30am to 7.30pm.

Open daily: 8.30am to 8pm (last patient 7.30pm)

Open daily: 8.30am to 7.30pm (last patient 7pm)

Important information:
- No booking is needed, just turn up during the times above
- You do not need to bring ID
- Please bring your NHS number if you have it
- Bring a bottle of water if you can

We’re pleased to let our patients know that from 4th March, Anima will be available directly on the NHS App.

This means you will no longer need to visit the practice website to submit an Anima request. Instead, you can conveniently send your request through the NHS App on your phone or tablet.

Information for patients :
Please note that Court View Surgery will be closed for staff training from 1pm on Tuesday 10th February and will re-open the following morning at 8am.
If you require urgent medical care (if you have symptoms that need immediate attention) during this time, please ring 111. If you need to make a routine appointment, request a repeat prescription, or if you are waiting for test results, please wait until the following morning when the practice re-opens.
