If you’re eligible for the flu vaccine, keep an eye on your phone — we’ll be sending you a text with a self-booking link to easily book your appointment online!

🗓️ Clinics will be held on 4th October and 11th October in the mornings only.

Can’t make it on those days? No worries! Just contact the practice and book directly with one of our nurses. Appointments will be available from 1st October onwards.

💉 We will also be offering COVID-19 vaccines at the same time for eligible patients who would like one.

🌟 We Want Your Feedback! 🌟

This past Monday, we went live with our new triage system, Anima, and what a week it’s been! We’re thrilled that many patients have been able to submit their own requests through the system, making things quicker and easier. For those who needed extra help, our reception team was happy to assist and submit requests on their behalf.

Please remember: This system is designed to ensure that patients who truly need an appointment get one — it’s not a first-come, first-served process. This helps us prioritise care based on urgency and need.

Segmentation is simply a way we group patients based on their health and wellbeing needs. It helps us provide better, more personalised care – making sure you get the right support, from the right clinician, at the right time. 💙

🚀 "Anima" Goes Live on Monday! 🚀

Next week, Lucy and Jan will be on hand in the waiting room to guide you step-by-step on how to submit an Anima request — making the process smooth and simple! (and saving you time by standing in our queue)

📱 Don’t worry if you don’t have a smartphone or internet access!
Our phone lines will remain open, and our friendly reception team will still be available to help submit Anima requests on your behalf.

I am really hopeful that with this change, we’ll be able to ensure that those who need an appointment are seen by the most appropriate clinician — helping us provide the best care possible for you.

I have noticed some concerns expressed by patients regarding the availability of face-to-face appointments. Please be assured that this is not the case. Should a patient require an in-person consultation, the triaging doctor will ensure they are referred to the appropriate clinician for a face-to-face appointment.

🙏 Please remember, if you are able to submit your request yourself, please do so via our practice website. This will help keep our phone lines and reception desk free for those who don’t have internet access or a smartphone.

I appreciate that change can be nerve-wracking, but please know the team have worked super hard to make sure this transition goes smoothly. I kindly ask that you treat our staff with patience and kindness as they support you through this new process.

Hey everyone! Just a quick update about our switch to the Anima system starting 4th August.

We’ve had quite a few questions come in, so we thought we’d share some info here that might help you out:

👩‍⚕️ You can still see a GP, nurse, advanced nurse practitioner, physio — whoever you need!
📋 But before booking, a GP will triage your appointment to make sure you get the right care at the right time.

No smartphone or internet? No problem! Just give our reception team a call, and they’ll submit your Anima request for you.

If you can use Anima yourself (through our website), please do! It helps keep our phone lines free for those who really need to call in.

And don’t worry — every request, whether sent by you or by our team on your behalf, is treated exactly the same.

Recently, there have been several incidents where members of our reception team have been subjected to verbal abuse—both over the phone and at the front desk.

We understand that delays, frustrations, and concerns can be upsetting. But we kindly remind everyone that our reception staff are here to help and work incredibly hard under significant pressure to support all of our patients.

Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Please treat our team with the respect and kindness they deserve.

📢 Important Update on Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) Availability

We’ve had a number of enquiries following recent media coverage about Mounjaro (Tirzepatide), a weight-loss injection.

👉 Please note: This treatment is not currently available for prescribing by GPs on the NHS.

In Kent and Medway, there is currently no provider of Behavioural Support for Obesity, which is required for this medication to be prescribed in primary care.
Additionally, Mounjaro is not available under the Right to Choose pathway.

📌 We kindly ask patients not to contact the practice regarding Mounjaro/Tirzepatide for weight loss.

If you are exploring private options, please contact private providers directly. Unfortunately, we are not able to support or advise on private access, including monitoring or administration.
